Even with assistance from Myrddin, Albion never discovered how to properly control their emotions. They are instead controlled by their emotions, and it is only a matter of time until the corruption that has taken hold of them will overwhelm them completely. This, however, is of no concern to Albion; all of this means there are simply more questions that need answers, and they will find those answers by any means necessary. This is a new experience that will lead them to more experiences. Why should they worry? It's worth the pain that it causes them and others as long as it leads to further knowledge.
To Albion, if you are not willing to stand by them and their goals, you're simply a liability who needs to be eliminated. Caring about others is only a nuisance that holds them back at this point. They have two others by their side, and only them, and that's enough for Albion. They don't need other friends, they don't need the Court, all they need is to keep striving for knowledge. Fulfilling their curiosity is all that matters now. If they need to do it standing alone against everyone else, so be it. They don't care anymore.
Except they really do. They do care, far too much. And that's the most annoying thing of all.

It's his fault for all of this, at least from Albion's view of things. He causes Albion pain, but that's okay. It'll always be okay. If it had to be anyone, they would always want it to be Brïs.

ally
Kierben is just as helpful as he's always been, and thus is not of any real concern. He will always be loyal. Albion trusts him to be. Kierben would never betray them.
