Node's Links
She's really intrusive. Should have never said yes to this...
He loves to have me around. It's all in his tone~
Cloak's boss, I think? She doesn't really mention them often and if she does it's only by their title, Headmaster. A bit self absorbed if you ask me.
The dear future teller of The Collective, a very useful tool indeed. If only he cared about anything else but himself but alas, you can't get everything perfect. He shall do.
Cloak sends me to the mountains every once and a while to pick up things from them.
'Cloak's friend that comes over to get things from me.'
She's a bit salty about my appointment but Pare's chill otherwise.
Well... Apart from her massive anger issue, which she hasn't worked on.
'Node of Clowder City, Monitor and artifact hunter' is his opening line and should tell you all you need to know. He's disrespectful of rank unless it serves him and completely upset the Collective when he joined.
Quite the cat, some even say he doesn't deserve to hold the West anymore. I'll hold my tongue, as usual.
Well, she's disrespectful but I suppose that's a fair trade-off for being efficient. Besides, she is just an assistant so I suppose I could let those moments slide as teaching points and leave it a that.
Looking back I realize no one can be perfect. Sometimes things happen far beyond your control. I'm beginning to realize that. Node might have taught me an important life lesson without realizing it.
Fine, he may be all talk and no bite but he does act as a good distraction. All from his own volition to considering he flies away before a plan could be set in stone. BUT. He should really consider being quiet at moments, a tongue that flies out free in the open is more often caught by teeth than the one that waits for the perfect moment. Keep that in mind, Courier.
somewhat split here, he's made some apocalyptically bad decisions but simultaneously covered for some even worse ones by others. I'd suggest exercising restraint if that weren't so incredibly hypocritical of me.
Hmm, What is a lynx hybrid doing here? Well, regardless they seem very buddy-buddy with Aragon... Maybe I could ask them about it later, in private.
Or maybe I shouldn't. They are very loud and I feel like they would blow the whole 'private' part. Maybe if I asked in lynx it would be better...
So I was right, partly. A victim of the corrupt Median system that got caught. While he should have played it safer I don't blame him, good help is hard to find outside of certain groups. Though I'm glad he told me. Not that I couldn't find out regardless, it's more about the trust I'm glad at.
His intentions are about as dubious as my trust in him is...I really want to trust him but something holds me back. I need him though, at least for right now.
You know what, scratch that. It's not just that he's an entitled Noble, he also apparently just has a terrible personality. I mean come on, the least you can do is think before speaking your mind. Like, put the effort in and read the room because your mouth has gotten us into more trouble than it's saved us from at this point. Sheez.
I mean... he's something alright. Something that should keep its mouth shut sometimes but something indeed.
He’s quiet but I want his eye
Over time, I realized that he's beginning to seem like a liability. Why can't he just, be quiet? Is it really that hard to keep your mouth shut? I've been doing so just fine most of my life, why can't he? Why in Media do some people think that disclosing their thoughts 24/7 is a good idea!?
And No! I don't want to play Fortnight. I technically can't even play games officially, most of my device's history is tracked.
Dude calm down I just wanted to be nice to you... ;-;
Thank you for finding Security though!
Sure you do. Strange how easy it was to claim nobility once this entire mission was over. Why didn't you do it sooner? Why be content with being a courier when you could have just taken the easy way out? Like most nobility.
No, I don't think you're telling the truth. Not all of it. No matter how much you think that is true.
Well, even though i am now higher in status, I still see you as an equal, even when may not agree with everything.
A pretty sad noble. Which is strange since he doesn't act like one.
[DND] Node is really mature, or at least mature compared to a lot of us in the group. Pretty smart head on his shoulders. Wonder what happened to his eye? Not gonna ask.
It's nice to have someone who's reliable in this group. Really makes up for... others around here. That eye is a tiny bit unsightly though, he should probably think about covering it up. For his sake, not much charm can be pulled with a missing eye like that.
He seems rather cool! I don't know him all that well, but that eye patch is so cool.
Why does it feel like I know him? Have I seen him before? Maybe it was at the Monitor District in the Capital? In Clowder City?
*Ugh* I'll have to look them up in the database later because this is going to bug me until I find out.
I think we've met once or twice? I'm glad he's with the group, because Network is impulsive sometimes. I feel like someone like him would keep her from uh... doing anything reckless.
I don't appreciate liars and backstabbers, but I hate people using others even more especially if it's against their own views. Hope you find out who you can trust sooner than later, Antipathy. And I hope you don't make the wrong decisions, for your sake.
He's far too perceptive for his own good. Something about him is just... Off-putting, to say the least. Node seems to come off as formal and uncaring, but I'm more than aware that there's feelings somewhere in there, after figuring out he tossed that eye patch for his own personal reasons. Not that I care to know more about him.... maybe.
Oh, it's the prosecutor that tried to prove my wrongs. I'm sorry that you could never get too far into the case before it was closed but I was still needed at the time.
I wish I could have helped you, I am truly sorry I couldn't have done more.
Princess Complexity tends to be... Bothersome when she comes by while I'm working but she's nice enough when you get to know her. Her parents though...
Sometimes I wonder how I got the position of Median Advisor.
He's a bit of a weird one, but still really fun! I hope he's liking the new reign under King Curiosity and Ruler Adversity! And ME as princess! <3
Connection is way too close to this snake for her to be no one. I'll have to check if she even has a profile
...
I really don't like how closely they seem to influence Connection, even passively. Especially with how quick they were to become hostile to Film. Yet another to keep an eye on.
Well, im something now! I wasn’t before!
I think I saw him when I worked with Pareidolia up north once or twice.
I don't know but he seems far too 'old guard' for my taste. Though, I guess mage hunting would twist someone like that...
Cool hat though
A Monitor who collects artifacts and turns them in. Keep up the good work.
I WOULD say if I didn't sense magic from that "eyepatch" of yours. Hand it over and you'll be free of punishment. It would be very nice for my own collection...
It's not often I get to eat prepared food. Especially ones made with such quality. It feels nice to not have to rely on rations all the time.
They're pretty sweet to talk to too. A nice change of pace from the people I have to deal with and one I appreciate. Plus they were really accommodating to my... dietary restrictions which was really nice of them.
Murder-happy nobles always put me off. We may vaguely follow the same principles but they are seen on the opposite side of the action scale where words and talks mean nothing but being a means to an end. That end usually leads to the death of somebody.
Glad I don't have to work with them too often.
What's with the eye patch, eh? Toyed with the wrong person, did he? I don't recall any Monitor being one to stand in the front lines—they are better off standing behind a screen and yowling coordinates.
Well, as long as they don't attempt to dismantle Media they're fine by me. Though I do find it odd that they got pardoned and verified so easily despite overtly being a mage. Not that I put that against them. 'Judge by actions' and all that. It's just weird.
I have zero recollection of seeing this man.
Wait, that's a lie. I think I saw him carrying a parcel once.
I saw him once while delivering mail, wonder why he has an eyepatch?
Cloak's, frankly overprotective, brother. Dude tried to slash at me with a weirdly shaped blade when we first met before she stepped in and cleared things up!
