PERSONALITY

Rue can come off as abrasive and curt, which isn't too far from the truth. He's only nine years old, and his horizons weren't terribly expansive before this. 

He's incredibly witty and his humor can make even many adults laugh- a gift that makes him quite popular with them. Especially other moms and women. It does come off incredibly dry and sarcastic at times, though. And he tends to make other kids cry, especially sensitive ones.

It's not that he's intentionally mean or rude. He's just used to being around older people, and picked up on their habits quicker than others his age. He's an incredibly realistic boy as well, and tends to kill a lot of the wonder and joy that other children latch onto.

He gives the upmost respect to his mom. They're incredibly close, which has helped Rue greatly grow. He tells her everything on his mind, and will ask for permission to curse to express how frustrated he is at something. It's an incredibly solid, positive relationship.

CURRENT EVENTS

Rue was on vacation with his mom, an airline pilot that he rarely gets to see. He's always been a bit of a momma's boy, so he immediately accepted to go with her. The outbreak happens when they're in this foreign area, states away from home.

HISTORY

Rue is the second born child to Brielle Jones, with an elder sister whose twelve (12) years old. Life has never been truly terrible or awful, to be honest. But he did grow up always missing his mom, as she started as a pilot for helicopters and then moved to airline piloting. 

He's a smart kid, a rather average success story, all things considered. Though he did experience one little bump. His parents ended up getting a divorce a year ago, when he was eight (8) years old. 

This didn't seem to effect him as deeply as one would think. A rational child by nature, so long as he could still have a relationship with his mom and dad, he told himself he'd survive. 

Truth be told, it makes him hold on for dear life to his mother, more so than he already did.
