Norvan grew up in Rumba Sumba in a crowded household - he's the second youngest of five siblings. Throughout his childhood, he heard plenty of ghost stories about the ruins surrounding the city, which both scared and fascinated him, and when he was old enough, he joined the Archeologist's guild so he could learn about and explore these supposedly haunted ruins.

Norvan sought out a partner to co-host a ghost hunting show with him, and Montevic, who'd just fled Seajewel, volunteered. The two stumbled through a couple of awkward years until they reached their stride.

Things happened with Marsa. It was more of an issue for Montevic, but Norvan did get almost strangled to death! Kinda traumatic. Later, he received a serious head injury during a cave-in while he was investigating a ruin with the help of Moria and Montevic. The cranial trauma disrupted his aura and caused it to manifest visually.

Norvan, along with Montevic, visited Hanto Magnata for the tech fair and thus were trapped in the city when it began to burn. Norvan escaped to the boats, but was separated from Montevic during the chaos. He spent time in the Offshore Colony recuperating, and after several weeks, began a journey up the northern coast of Tonpelli in search of his missing partner. Norvan had to travel through a cyborg-controlled war zone, but somehow, he found Montevic, disheveled and unwillingly cyborgified. The two traveled to the Order of the Free Tech-Touched's temporary colony in the mangroves and stayed there until they received news that it was safe to travel to the mainland.

On their journey back to the mainland, Norvan and Montevic visited the Spitfire Carnival. There, Montevic confessed their attraction to Norvan, and the two officially reclassified their relationship from "work partners" to "romantic partners". They reached Paydo Moga and decided to stay there for a while, setting up in a proper recording studio and sticking to discussing supernatural stories rather than mucking about in ancient ruins, though they still make the odd house call. Time will tell whether the universe has finished traumatizing them.
