     The Colonel worked with the Allies during World War II. The other kernels on his cob are his loyal troop, & the cob sort of works as their base. All of the kernels are easily free to hop on & off of it. He’s a bit loud, but he’s loud because he cares. He has a commanding presence that his fellow kernels all admire.
