first off, that's such a cool profile, his design is so pretty, love the detail of his wings, even his hair has similar details to the ones of his wings, that's such a creative design, really well done character!!!
"Oh, goodness!" Rochester was quick to proclaim with a wry laugh while running her fingers through her hair, "I thought I was seeing shit for a moment, but there you are! You are... Someone!" She admitted, at least to herself, that she sounded a bit reductive in her statements, but the older woman was honestly so shocked by the shopkeeper's very presence that she couldn't help but... Laugh. Wow.
It was a slight laugh, one that wasn't meant to be disrespectful by any means, and yet...
"Out of curiosity, though," she added once switching her gaze over to the admittedly impressive inventory that the other party possessed, "are any of your plants for sale? They are rather beautiful, to be honest with you." Please say no. Please say no. There was actually a good chance that Rochester would've killed any plant that she had taken into her home, even if she carefully approached one of the aforementioned plants and carefully thumbed its leaf. "You must take very good care of them now, mm? I wish I was like that, huh!"
Still chuckling to herself, Rochester eventually asked, "Though if none of them are for sale... Do you have anything else in mind?", and cocked her head at the other. Like a quizzical dog, to be more poetic! "I do not have the most money in the world, and I would never return if I did," quipped the elder, "But I do promise to be a reasonable customer as long as your wares are of decent quality, mm? At least... I hope that is the case... Sir." Sure. as if that drawl helped her case one bit.
Mevdos stood with a straight posture & a bright smile. Head empty, no thoughts at all. Though, when he heard the word "plants" his brain was reawoken. Mevdos perked up, excited about his new customer's inquiry on his beloved plants.
"Ooo plants! I don't get a lot of customers that ask about them. I never thought about selling them as none of them are edible... Oh wait! Be right back!" Mevdos called out as he rushed into a small room. He walked around his plant room, deciding on which one would be a perfect fit. This octopus plant is nice... No no too dangerous. What if it eats the poor old lady? The mushroom grows too fast- Oh! Perfect! He snatched the small green plant he found & ran back.
"Found it! Here, it's all yours! Since you're the first one to ask about them, you can have them for free. Plus they're edible!" (****Would not recommend eating*******) He smiled brightly as he displayed the plant in his outstretched palms.
"Just like... Keep it in sunlight & it'll produce green tea! Isn't that sweet? Thanks for visiting, but please do visit again if you have time. It does get lonely here sometimes!"
