Dee is a scientist. He loves his job, is quite passionate about letting humanity evolve and advance with the use of science, but is quite aware of the dangers it may bring. 

He is kind hearted, gentle, loving and full of hope for others... But he is also naive, weak (physically and emotionally), with almost non-existent self esteem, and too many issues to count. 

Dee is really just trying his best...
