DESCRIPTION
While his flamboyant, stage-like mannerisms are present in his conversations, Laurent much prefers to keep to himself in the quiet; be it during work or in the comfort of his own home. As an old vampire, he believes he is somewhat of a god among mortals. Thus, he prides himself greatly in his near-perfection. Despite him being strict, Laurent is no stranger to bending the rules to benefit him alone. He does somewhat enjoy trickery, especially when it comes to humans and contriving their demise. Other than that, Laurent is a gifted artist; painting is his favorite hobby (in fact, most, if not all, of the paintings in his home are done by him).
He is a very short, petite man. Laurent has very pale skin, even for the average vampire. He has dark red hair styled in a bob and eyes the same color. Being a vampire, Laurent has fangs, pointed ears, and clawlike nails (although he usually wears leather gloves to conceal them). Likes to wear lots of jewelry, like necklaces and rings. Usually he's seen smiling and very rarely shows his true emotions.

Backstory
Not much is known about Laurent besides the fact that, as a human, he lived as a somewhat well-off artist during the 15th century. Somewhere down the line, he disappeared from the human world without a trace and began a new life as a vampire.
Laurent traveled the world alone for several centuries until finally settling in America. There, he took up a job once more as an artist.
To this day, nobody really knows what has become of Laurent. Perhaps he is alive, but no one has made any attempts to find that out for themselves. It's commonly believed that he was killed sometime during the turn of the century.

Trivia
- Because Laurent is a very old vampire, he's a bit on the "traditional" or "superstitious" side. He takes somewhat extensive precautions to prevent any vampiric weaknesses to be within the house, such has keeping the windows covered with thick, heavy curtains during the day, forbidding any sort of or mirrors silver to be within the house, etc.
- Laurent's business is run by third parties during the day. Most of his clients are also poor and/or people who are alone, which is how he gathers victims.
