Cat carries an air of elegance wherever she goes, and I wish I was like that. We met in college and she saw me drawing for my art class, and we basically clicked from there. It's nice to have someone who I can share my interests with; there's more to me than just music and art. She's also my anime binge buddy! š
Rochelle is like a real-life Rapunzel from Tangled; while she can be a bit skittish, she's super creative and a sweet bundle of sunshine brightening up everyone's day. We all call her Goldilocks for her naturally fluffy golden curls. Of course, her chipper demeanor isn't to be taken for granted; sometimes that smile doesn't reach her eyes. Rochelle can be serious if needed and in doing so she can be quite insightful. There's more to her than what she puts out there, that's for sure. As an artist, Rochelle explores different assets of herself - what she thinks, what she feels, and everything in between. I typically struggle with putting myself out there, and seeing Rochelle do that through her art is fascinating.
For someone who typically keeps to herself, Rochelle knows how to connect with others. We have so much in common that itās easy for us to bond.
Zani is incredibly beautiful, that's for sure. She's also an extremely talented fashion designer. She has this crazy idea that she can sell my artwork into clothing...that's not a bad idea, now that I think about it.
Zani is the life of the party and she can light up a room from miles away. It's impossible for me to be unhappy around Zani, and I try my best to be there for her whenever she needs someone.
Rochelle is a cutie and an amazing artist! I've seen her stuff and I would honestly translate her art into an original design in a heartbeat! Think about the profits we could rake in!!
Sorry; got a little excited there. Anyway, who can't resist having someone so cute and creative like Rochelle in their lives? I feel incredibly blessed to know her and call her one of my best friends!
*whispering*Don't tell Blaze that he looks like Ren Jinguji from Uta no Prince Sama!! He looks so similar to him; it's crazy!!
Anyway...Blaze is an awesome musician! He takes his work very seriously, and I admire his ambition. If he made an album, I'd buy at least 10 of them. š He's also my go-to coffee shop buddy! š
Rochelle's an incredible artist. She's mostly a ceramicist and her pottery should be displayed in a museum; it's that good. She also draws, mostly landscapes and she's getting into anime-styled drawing from what I've heard. Speaking of anime...she keeps telling me I look like some character from one of her shows - I honestly donāt see it. Other than that, Rochelle's creativity and artistry is something to behold. We also go out for coffee when I'm on break; she'll order the sweetest drink on the menu and if you're not careful her sugar rushes can get crazy. I always have to make sure she gets decaf.
Gen is the best stepsister in the whole world! I lost my father in high school, yet Gen lost her mother before that...when my mother married Gen's father it was like fate that weād be together as a family. I was an only child but it's so nice to have a sibling - even if not by blood. As the old saying goes, 'it takes more than blood to make a family.'
My darling stepsister! Poor baby went through a lot after losing her father...I was the same way when I lost my mother. So, when my father married her mother we were practically inseparable - and still are! I'm doing my part to keep the family afloat, including taking care of Rochelle!
Just try not to fall asleep while she's painting; I've learned that lesson the hard way!
Aimee is one of my most trusted friends throughout high school. We were both on the cheerleading squad, but we had the misfortune of being led by Amber, who was our extremely mean and bitchy cheer captain; seriously, the āmean cheer captainā trope has been played out so many times. š However, there were no redeeming qualities that Amber could rest on. She was just rotten to the core.
Anyway, Aimee has been my biggest supporter ever since I lost my dad. Sheād call me every day I was absent from school and bring my homework so I wouldnāt fall behind, sometimes staying with me to help me out. After the huge fight between me and Amber, thoughā¦even when I was named cheer captain after Amberās expulsion from school, I passed the title to Aimee, who was more than deserving after everything she did for me. I really wanted to focus on my art at the time, but I still went to the football games to support her until graduation.
Weāre still really great friends to this day. āŗļø
As you might've guessed it, Rochelle and I were fellow cheerleaders under Amber's tyrannical rule. Rochelle was practically the best flyer on the squad despite dealing with asthma, and I was often her support with two other girls. Rochelle had the best form and the brightest smile of any cheerleader I've seen...to think such terrible things could happen to her like her father's untimely death. I took time away from cheerleading to help her through such a difficult time in her life. After Amber got expelled and Rochelle was named captain, she passed the title to me. I understood that she had shifted her focus onto something else as cheerleading brought her so much stress given what happened.
Rochelle and I still keep in touch even though we live in different cities. We sometimes get together for lunch. :)
