The Seer's Links
Your.. face, she says—happiness, perhaps?
So why are your.. eyes so sad? The light, gone from them—Fools everyone but the fool.
A corpse should be left well enough alone.
Corpse? There's a corpse? I see no-Aha! It's a jest! Perhaps you should leave the jokes to me, however, since that one was a mite on the weaker side. Don't fret, however! I foresee that if you tag along with me long enough you'll get the hang of the art of comedy, ha-ha!
Capriciousness justifies.. nothing. Alliances m-must be broken.
Can you not hear His voice? Why must you join the rest in rebellion? Not.. Not making s-sense—
I never understand her...then again, I'm not the discerning-prophecies type. We move in different circles so I'm not really "supposed" to get any prophecies anyway, unless they're weather forecasts. I do know she seems to think I'm a rebel. Ha! I guess I am, by the old standards. I don't care. Narrator can't take my kith from me, not while I'm breathing. So why worry?
Why.. join the others? I know it.. pains you. Observing me, a bird in a cage.. You worry Him. Wishes.. He wishes to g-guide you again.
Come out of the castle and we can talk, Cassandra; things have changed. You don’t have to fear him anymore.
Please, sister, forgive me..
Matches made for all but yourself... How c-can you be fulfilled with no path, no g-guide? What.. What happened to those broken free? They lost, I saw them--So.. How are you still here?
I found a different path to walk, Seer. You can find one too. Fate is what we make it.
