| Note: This is an ultra old character from the other part of the sequel of my story; I'm still not 100% sure about his role in my story, but I wanted him to have a profile here too because I'm very sentimental about my characters. He was originally created ~10 years ago and currently I'm revamping his whole concept, so this page is still a WIP (and mostly contains of info from 2013-2015). | Short description Sven was supposed to be one of the main characters in the sequel in the part before Ancheal is the protagonist. A mysterious, gloomy man with a sinister vibe that almost no one can't understand - people tend to talk very strange things about him and even suspect him for some crimes. He appears as a young adult who arrives to the Braivada village and accidentally falls in love with Astrid, a teenage halcylian girl who doesn't seem to be interested in him. Well, only because her friends force her to deny her own feelings and warn her about this weird man. They both don't know much about each other and hide a lot of facts, but in the end they decide to become a couple, what leads to many complications in their lives - and even in lives of other people around them. |
| Personality Sven seems to be really gloomy, taciturn, reserved, literally not friendly at all - but deep inside he is actually kinda different, though it's very hard to get in touch with him. He has problems with showing affection and everytime he tries to do it, it ends up really awkward, he's often seen as a weird recluse who doesn't need friends and avoids other people. In fact he can be a caring person and there's nothing so scary about him, despite he's not the most exuberant and talkative person in the world. Has a bit strange sense of humour and sometimes acts really worrisome, but these ones who get to know him better are convinced that he's actually a person who they can rely on. Also very hardworking and risky, kinda impetuous, able to do really disquieting things, not always aware of the consequences. He is also a halcylian, but doesn't use his powers often (fortunately; he's really careless or even clumsy if it comes to this), yet he doesn't despite the fact he's somewhat an unusual being - in contrast to his parents who claim to HATE their own "race". For the most part of his plot in the story he's deeply in love in Astrid, but he seems to know he has no chances for getting closer with her; even when he tries to give her a sign, it doesn't end good for him and people become more suspicious about him. It turns out that Sven, a person who is so cold and completely lame at showing affection, is actually ready to commit really strange and scary things for the love. |

| Relations Astrid - his one and only love interest; he's deeply in love with her, yet he has problems with expressing his feelings and is not able to give her a proper sign (when he tries, it usually ends quite lame). Even though at the begginning Astrid seems to be prejudiced against Sven and acts almost hostile towards him, they both get more interested in each other. Actually Astrid liked him from the first sight and she was really intrigued about him, but her friends had been always warning her of him. Astrid and Sven have rather contrastic personalities, but it turns out they get on really well. Their relationship becomes stronger very quickly, but in the fact they were hiding a lot of facts about themselves. For example - for long time Astrid didn't want to tell Sven what her real age is, and the consequence of it is that she became mother being only 16. They decided to get married, despite people around them didn't want to approve Sven, and though their relation wasn't always perfect, they really loved each other. Ancheal - his older son; they lived together only for the first 5 years because later Ancheal lost his family. Sven really TRIED to be a good father for Ancheal but let's be honest, he didn't do so well - this man had no idea how to be a parent. Sven definitely loved him in his own svenish way, but didn't know how to treat children, so when he was taking care of him, he often exposed his son to danger. Even though, Ancheal really enjoyed spending time with him and having many adventures together, he admired him and wanted to be like him in the future. Ancheal reminds his father a lot (not only in appearance), yet he's not so cold and gloomy like him (even though he often tries to be). He really misses him. Arvis- his younger son; when the family gets separated, it seems like Arvis is too young to remember his father. In fact, for a very mysterious reason, it turns out he remembers him just as good as Ancheal and even knows what happened before he was born. When adult Arvis meets his father, Sven can't recognise him; he doesn't even remember he had second child. Svein - they used to work together in the same crew, but they never got on well. Svein used to treat Sven very badly and tell everyone suspicious things about him. They had a serious conflict, which almost led to getting Sven fired from his job. When Sven disappears, Svein starts to regret all the things he did to him, but it seems like it's too late to apologize - Svein is convinced that Sven is dead. That's why some years later he's willing to help his son. Hansel - the shepherd from a small mountain village who meets Sven in Braivada. At the first moment they have bad relations, they even call each other rivals as they're both interested in Astrid; Hansel makes a lot of suspicions about Sven and convinces other people that he's a ruffian. Later they become friends. They're completely different, like a fire and water, but actually Sven can call Hansel his only one true friend (though Sven usually doesn't act friendly at all and finds Hansel extremely annoying). Rudolf - his mate from the crew. For some reason Rudolf tries to get closer to him, even though Sven avoids him and remains an unfriendly gloomy weirdo. Linnea - Astrid's sister. At the beginning she clearly express that she doesn't like his weird attitude and would never trust a man like him. For long time she doesn't approve that he tries to get closer to Astrid and even when they become couple, she still warns her sister of him. After some years she accepts him, but still treats him rather coldly. Ironically, she finally starts to approve him, when she discovers the dark truth about everything he did just to be able to become Astrid's husband - she seems to be even a bit fascinated about his dark side. Aingeal - a shy and quiet woman from Braivada who has a crush on Sven. Though she never tries to get to know him better and neither does anything to end his relationship with Astrid, in the end she decides to get rid of her weakness - and she does something that leads Sven to huge problems. She starts to accuse him for killing his parents...what surprisingly turns out to be true. His parents - he always had rather bad relations with both of them and never felt loved by them, they were harsh, demanding and cold, but what's more, they hated the fact that they are halcylians and their children are halcylians too. Marten and Pernille both loved and hated each other and they really tried to hide all their powers, also they were forcing their children to do the same. They wanted to ruin the Braivada village and forbid their children to meet with other halcylians. That's why they became mad when they discovered that Sven is in love with another halcylian and of course they tried to stop him. His siblings - Sven seems to have rather neutral relations with his six siblings, but evidently doesn't get on well with one, his oldest sister Tiell. He doesn't really care about them and he would prefer to leave his whole family. Fun fact, not all of the 8 siblings are Pernille's children; Marten often cheated on her with non-halcylian women and when they had children with him, he wanted to raise these children as his own, hoping that they won't be born as halcylians. Pernille she knew about it and truly despised her husband; it's possible she actually hated these children too. |
| Some other fun facts - Just like in Anchi's case, his hair is supposed to be BLACK, not blue. - He has 5 husky dogs and they're really, like really important to him, he treats them as his family. - Ancheal and his brother become separated from their parents at young age, but in the fact only their mother dies. It's still not sure what happens with Sven and why he couldn't come back to his children. The old concept was assuming that he just went crazy after his wife's death and lost his mind for 20 years. He's obviously not dead. - For now it's also not sure what is Sven's role in Braivada (the village where people work with some halcylians) because I still haven't decided about the Braivada's future after 1900. It's necessary for this character though, because Braivada was meant to be very important place for him. - For a short moment Sven appears in my main story where his father plots against Ester's village, it's said he's a weird shy little boy who already prefers dogs than people. - The legend says he ate a soap once. I don't remember why, it was fucking 2013. These characters are so damn old. |
