Feral, stubborn, strong-minded and agressive, Malaika was surely not an angel. Even without being the heir, she conquered others respect quickly, she protected the weak cubs against Loke and always fought him, she refused to obey her stupid brother.

Malaika means Angel and has Swahili origins.

Childhood
Malaika was the first born of the rulers of the Darklands, but the king refused to take her as his heir, since she was a female.
She made friends quite easily, since the other cubs respected her, but when her new brother was born every lion was forced to obey all his wishes, something that Malaika refused.
When her three new brothers were born, the lioness knew she would have to protect them from that black devil.
Journey
Malaika was troublesome, always disrespecting Loke and taking the command, she wanted to prove her father that she could be a better heir than him, but she never suceded.
While patroling the lioness met two teen lion rogues, they quickly became friends and started to spend much time together. But Loke discovered and told his father about them, Katili got furious and punished Malaika, she tried to run away, but Loke stopped her. She never saw his friends again.
Finish Line
Loke dominated everything, Malaika hated his brother, he was a demon. But everything went down in the day that Inkosi and Loke had a fierce fight, Loke killed his own brother without mercy, Malaika sweared revenge, she would kill the tyran king.
Most of the lions left the lands to dominate a strong land, but they never came back, her father never came back. Loke got crazy, he wanted revenge for his father, but more than that, he wanted to kill all lions that got against him, Malaika had to stop him, they fought, but she didn't had a chance against him and got brutaly killed.
Cause of Death: Murdered by Loke.
AU
Her dear brother, Loke, was never born. Her father tried to make one of the triplets the next king, but they weren't good enough.
When king Katili announced the attack against the Sunlands, Malaika voiced loudly against it, the lands got divided and her father was ready to kill his own daughter, but Malaika was victorious, becoming the new queen.
She decided to end the Sunlands war and accepted a bethrotal between her and prince Suko.
OC Origins
Malaika had very little changes to follow Katili's redesign. I didn't knew what I wanted for her design and I'm really happy that she turned out like her mother, but more "evil" looking.

[ Mother ] Malaika wanted to protect her mother, she hated when the lionesses were mean to her, she was the most awesome and wise lioness, why they couldn't see it?
[ Father ] Malaika did everything to get her father's attention, she wanted to prove that she could be a great heir even being a female.
[ Brother ] A spoiled and annoying brat that Malaika tried to discipline, but he never listened. They hated eachother.
[ Brother ] Hamoyo was Malaika's hope of a brighter future, he gained her trust and respect, they were inseparable.
[ Brother ] Mwendo was difficult to understand, but Malaika still tried, she loved him, she was always close in case if someone tried to mess with him.
[ Best Friend ] Tukio and Malaika inspired eachother, they would sit by the stars and theorise how the world works.
[ Best Friend ] Ajabu lifted the adventurous side of Malaika, they feel like anything was possible together.
