Audrey is a researcher from Lufeld, the capital of the Beorc Empire. Though she was mostly hired by the military for the purpose of researching the Forest of Feathers, she was more interested in the seemingly endless possibilities the new government funding granted her. It was probably because of this drain on her resources that her grant was unceremoniously cut and she was kicked from the research team. This hardly bothered her, though, as she soon found a new focus for her studies: the Meihua movement.

Backstory
Born the 5th child of the Doley family, Audrey sought after the world outside of Lufield from a very young age. Spending most of her time in the small library near the Doley family home with her good friend Isaac the wyvern, she learned as much as she could about the different lands of Bleustra, and more importantly to her future, the various properties their natural resources could augment tools with. This hobby had to be put on hold when, at the age of 15, Audrey's father was grievously injured at his construction job and all of the Doley children had to find jobs to help support the family. Audrey herself got a job working under a blacksmith by the name of Conan, using her intimate knowledge of these augmenting properties to improve his products and drum up more business. She also took this time to familiarize herself with armor, both the use and circumvention of it. She spent the next 20 or so years of her life here, fancying herself a scientist in her spare time, until the government sent out a call for field researchers to travel into the Forest of Feathers. Suiting up in Conan's best armor and taking along plenty of books to read in her downtime, she set off with the research team to satiate her wanderlust and use the taxpayers' money to it's fullest effect.
Present Day
Audrey now travels with the Meihua, having run through her grant money faster than any official could have anticipated. Though it took some... convincing for everyone besides Caz to accept her into the group, she now fights with all the vigor and zeal she throws into her research to bring about a world where her research can be used for good instead of war.
