Mirësi Cytri

Backstory

The Eagle Laguz, like many of their shifter brethren, are a proud people driven to militaristic ends to protect their people and their lands. In turn, the leader of the Eagles must be able to fight without hesitation against those who would encroach upon the Pyll I Puplave. It was under these high expectations that Mirësi toiled in her younger years, training as the only heir to the Cytri family and thus the future leader of the Eagles. Even at a young age, though, Mirësi questioned the aggressive ways of her people and struggled against these tight boundaries she was forced into. So when a Beorc infant was brought to Chief Nilo Mirësi begged her father to let the infant live. Nilo relented, and the boy, to be named Caz Puplat, was allowed to grow up among the Eagles. As Caz grew up and aspired to join the soldiers that Mirësi would one day command, his and Mirësi's bond grew unbreakable as they spent most of their spare time in each other's presence. Even after Caz's first bow was discovered and destroyed, Mirësi continued to be his closest confidant and most avid supporter. So when Caz was deemed a threat to the Eagles despite his heroic efforts during the hunter attack, Mirësi set herself to a goal of changing the misguided ways of the Eagles, no matter what it took.

Present Day

When Caz snuck past all of Mirësi's attendants and proposed a plan to unify the peoples, Mirësi couldn't say no despite how crazy the idea seemed. Using her political connections and natural charisma to sway others to their cause, Mirësi is the proud co-founder of the Meihua and a driving force behind it's message of Unity. Though she worries for the future, she supports her friends and allies using a stave made from her own shifting stone: a physical manifestation of the good that can come from the merging of Beorc and Laguz
