Hair: Brown with a slight reddish tint to it. It is about chin length and messy, sticks out all over the place, and is usually covered by a newsboy cap

Eyes: Golden brown & a bit narrow and catlike

Build: tall and thin with just a little muscle and light chest hair

Scars/Body Modifications/Other distinguishing features: He has a wide gap between his two top front teeth. And at around 20ish he gets a star branded into the right side of his neck.

Clothing: He's a big fan of 1920s fashion and always wears clothing from that era: usually knickerbockers with either a sweater or a longsleeve shirt and vest combo, often with a red bowtie, and (as mentioned above) a newsboy cap that is rarely taken off. He also likes to wear fingerless gloves, or has his hands wrapped in boxing tape.

Disposition: Fernando is adventurous, very outgoing, and believes in making the most out of life. There's rarely a dull moment when he's around, and his loud, in-your-face attitude makes him exhausting for some people to deal with. He's a total "mamma's boy", and in addition to this he's pretty "chivalrous" toward other women as well, and is never as rude toward them as he is with men. Because he and Luca both have such forceful personalities they often end up arguing or trying to one-up each other, and sometimes even get into physical fights. His usually cheerful exterior hides his "dark side", and he can become dangerous and violent if provoked.

Mannerisms: He almost always has a cocky grin on his face, laughs often, and is a very hands-on kind of guy who likes being around and close to people. He tends to put a hand on people's shoulders when speaking to them and, when in a relationship with someone, is very open about putting an arm around them or kissing them in public. It's rare to see him just sitting around, unless he's playing cards or a slot machine.

Voice: He has a very thick Boston accent and speaks in a loud and rather nasally voice. The gap in his teeth also causes him to sometimes make a little whistling noise when he says words with "s" sounds in them.

His origin story is as wild and ridiculous as he is, as he came into being when his mother, on vacation in Barcelona, had a fling with a handsome young matador. They married quickly once she learned she was pregnant, and she intended to move to Spain permanently, until her new husband was gored to death by a bull not long after Fernando was born. Devastated, she moved back to her hometown of Boston to raise him there. He grew up having a lot of admiration for her as he watched her stay strong and take care of him and his younger siblings as a single mother after her second marriage fell apart, and he did all he could to help her take care of the family. At 14 he got into a fight with another student in math class after the kid insulted his mother, stabbing him in the neck with a compass. Though the boy survived the "attack", he ended up dying of an infection from his wound. Fernando then spent a year in juvenile hall and his mom sent him off to another school in New York once he was released, thinking it would be best for him to "get away from it all."
