Walter is a fellow without many friends. His only friends are Bulwrinkle and somehow, Bone. He has a reputation for being socially unaware and a quite weird dog. All in all, he is harmless but doesn't contribute much to the group. Some question why he is still present in the pack. His friendship with Bulwrinkle is what many suspect is why he hasn't been kicked out.

He has a giant crush on Boulder and is completely infatuated with her. She has a severe distaste for him after his many awkward advances.
