Josephine Best Work Friend

As a Milqilin who shares similar tastes to her own, Nerissa is quite fond of Josephine. She finds enjoyment in their little heart to hearts, often time held over a cup of tea in the Milky Way square. And oh dear, the tea' they do share! Sometimes, Nerissa is embarassed that she has vented more than a proper lady should- but Josie is such a good listener! In her good company, Nerissa's troubles simply melt away... along with her track of time.

Topi Close Co-Worker

Topi is, in Nerissa's opinion, far too energetic for his own good. With the way he turns work into play, Nerissa often worries about him getting into trouble- or even fired- over his antics. As such, her motherly instincts tend to get the best of her. She keeps a close eye on him throughout her shift, making sure to clean up his messes throughout the day. She has yet to realize that her doting fills a void left by her own sibling, who's reminds her very much of Topi.

Bambi Cry Baby Co-Worker

Nerissa could compare her relationship with Bambi to that of siblings, where she has taken on the role of 'big sister'. She has doted on the pink doe ever since she began working at the Milky Way (Especially when it comes to warning her about the 'good for nothing' son of the Milky Way's owner!). The methaphorical gray cloud that sits atop Bambi's head causes Nerissa to keep a close eye on her, as she does with Topi. Those two can be quite a handful, when in a room together.

Revel The Delinquent

As far as frustrating employees go, Nerissa believes Revel has earned the crown. If it weren't for the fact that he is one of the Boss's son, she would've snapped at him a long time ago! Despite her best efforts to get Revel to shape up, he continues to laze around and shirk his duties. At least she always knows where to find him: right at poor Bambi's side.

Valencia Odd Co-Worker

Despite getting along with both Josephine and Topi, Nerissa shares little compatibility with Valencia. It's not that she dislikes the other Milqilin, rather, she finds her mannerisms to be quite... odd. Why does she feel the need to give her co-workers nicknames (such as 'Nessa' and 'Josie')? She also finds Valencia's meddling in her own personal affairs to be quite puzzling. Why encourage her to accept date offers from the long line of Peach Blossom tea's loyal customers- it's not as if she could just pluck one up from the flock and find her one true love- honestly...!

Tilly Mini Me

Nerissa was most impressed with Tilly's resume, and knew from day one that she'd be perfect for the student hiring program. After personally giving her training, Nerissa can say with utmost certainty that the younger Milqilin's work ethic is only second to hers. She sees a lot of herself in Tilly, which is probably why people tease the other Milqilin for being a 'Teachers pet'. Her and Calix's relationship has her seal of approval (if only she knew that it was an agreed upon contract to get Nerissa off of her brother's case... hmmmm)

Love Long-lost twin

A young woman who shares Nerissa's passion for all things fairytale and romance. Though they approach the latter in very different ways (with Nerissa patiently waiting for 'prince charming', and Love choosing to kiss as many frogs as it takes), their ideal mate seems to be the same! Their conversations are back and forth's of qualities every perfect lover should have: Smart, kind, funny (but not too funny!). They're each other's wingwomans in finding that respectible someone, and have come up with rules to avoid stepping on each other's toes. Rather than bird watch, the pair will sit in the courtyard and swoon over other couples being cute together. Matches made in heaven.

Velouria 'New' Co-Worker

Upon first being introduced to Velouria, Nerissa couldn't help but feel jealous (not a good look, for a respectible lady such as herself!). While she had to set rules as the strict 'mother figure', Velouria earned the love and favour of the whole staff, as the sweet 'mother figure'. They shared so many similarities, and yet the succilin always seemed to one up her- without even breaking a sweat! It got the best of Nerissa during an impromptu Milky Way bake off, which they have since had a heart to heart about (while covered in flour and egg yolk). Nerissa feels quite silly for being competitive over the whole thing, and is grateful for Velourias kindness and reassurance.

Willem Right Hand Man

In Nerissa's eyes, Willems work ethic makes him a valuable employee. While she is busy scolding other's for not doing enough, she has to remind Willem that he is taking on too much (even more than he's given credit for)! The only downside she seems to find in him, is that he is so often distracted with handling 'personal matters' (AKA: everyone else's problems). If only he could prioritize the workplace in the same way she does... or so she tells herself.

Lilou Distracted Co-Worker

It's a miracle that Lilou manages to get any work done, when she is never at her station! Nerissa always happens upon her when shes with others, all of whom act quite suspicious from being caught slacking off. Nerissa will always give them an earful, and then proceed to get dragged into keeping Lilou out of trouble.

Min-Hee TBA

Nerissa was quick to realize how Min-Hee had exaggerated her work application. What looks good on paper, isn't always pratical in theory. What a headache it was to try and place her within the already unconventianal staff that makes up Nerissa's Milky Way family. Once she figured out that Min-Hee had a personalized set of skills, things fell into place. Was it for the best? Nerissa is still wondering...

V --

Nerissa is both in admiration and bewilderment of how V runs things in the Milky Way Pub. Loved and respected by her patrons and fellow co-workers, V has the kind of leadership Nerissa wishes she could immitate. To be both charming and easy-going, while still maintaining a strong presence... perhaps Nerissa has a teeny tiny bit of a girl crush.

Appoline Fairy Tale Princess

Whenever Appoline is in her presence, Nerissa can't help but point out all of the things that make her a fairy tale princess. She shares similarities with many of the childhood stories that Nerissa had wished her own life could have been like. She also secretly gushes over the interactions between Appoline and V, with rose colored glasses.

Jubilee High-Maintenance Co-Worker

When it comes to customer poularity, Nerissa's outmatched solely by Jubilee. Though dismissive of her own 'fame', the peach maiden is aware of the wandering eyes that follow her 'bouncy' co-worker. Bothered by this, Nerissa (unsuccessfully) encourages more ladylike behaviour. She is starting to accept that she cannot change who Jubilee is- a cheery milqilin surrounded by people who love and support her for being herself. Nerissa hopes she may someday share that same fortune.

Hawthorn The Mystery of the Muddy Footsteps!

Nerissa spent hours trying to find the 'muddy footstep' culprit, only for the trail to lead right to gardner Hawthorn and his dirt covered shoes. She audibly gasped when she caught him taking a short-cut through the Tea Corner, straight from the garden (Fortunately, Willem seems to not mind mopping up after him). Hawthorn has since appologized for the incident. Not only that, but thanks to his hardwork, the area surrounding the open Tea Garden has never looked so splendid! In exchange, Nerissa has provided a cute pair of cozy floral slippers, which Hawthorn accepts to wear when within the reading nook of the tea corner.

Bliss Tba

Although Nerissa shares more common ground with Everly and Love, she does find Bliss to be sweet as well. She was on the fence about hiring her to work alongside Jujube, (the pair are a handful of sugar rush energy) but the children ended up adoring Bliss and her face painting creations. It's good for business, and Nerissa can't help but smile at her work.

Capucine Soft-Spoken Co-Worker

Nerissa is most likely to run into Capucine’s when she is alongside Topi or Bambi. She finds the soft-spoken woman to be more agreeable than her Coffee Shoppe counterpart, so she tries to be polite in her presence. She also tends to slide Capucine's name into conversations with Topi, to try and give the oblivious boy a hint! It's rude to leave a lady waiting, and even ruder to keep her chasing!

Fior PSPSPSPSPSPSPSPSP Co-Worker

Shared glances from across the work sections have created both misunderstanding and tension between the two co-workers: Nerissa dislikes how the Coffee Shoppe customers order their coffee and proceed to waddle into her overcrowded Tea Corner. Could she not offer customer service worthy of their 5 star rating? Just watching as Fior dryly delivers a scalding hot cup to her customers, Nerissa voices it's no wonder they fear she may drop it on their laps- The expression Fior makes at Nerissa's 'unwanted' advice causes them to butt heads. When they exchange words, there's just a hint of lady-like opposition: "I hope the rest of your day is as pleasant as you are."
