Josie has a serene appearance, and her gestures are slow and delicate. This puts others at ease, and makes her seem approachable. However, she is somewhat detached from others and herself. This dainty Milqilin can't shake this feeling that people only care about her looks and that her appearance bears greater importance than her personality. People rarely take the time to get to know her true self, and often make assumptions about who she is to begin with. As a result, Josie second guesses her own identity by both hiding her preferences and trying to be the person that people compliment her for being.
Josie tries to hide what she considers her "flawed" side and eccentric tastes by mimicking her more mature friends. The real Josie is actually quite plain, lazy, and even somewhat eccentric. For example, while Josie enjoys time spent in the garden, it is not for the flowers but for the bugs that live there. She finds bumble bees adorable and is especially fond of snails. All the same, Josie cares a great deal for her friends and is always willing to lend a ear to their problems.
Background
Josephine grew up in a wealthy home surrounded by people of class and the utmost politeness. Her upbringing educated her in the ways of being refined and well mannered, however, Josie was quite an odd and adventurous child. She loved going on secret garden getaway's to collect treasure and make friends (aka: bugs). Despite her spirit, she couldn't shake the need to fit in with the rest of her family. There was this unstated obligation to fulfill her duty as a member of such a prestigious household. While her parents never openly disapproved of her, nor were they ever angry with her, she could tell that they were happiest when she was behaving like a proper lady. She would get praised when she chose a nice dress, or when speaking in a proper fashion. Soon enough Josie started to unintentionally hide her true self, basically believing in the words: “fake it until you make it”.
As a grownup she became everything her parents wanted her to be, but it left her feeling as though she did not “belong” anywhere. She is still too fearful of dropping the mask she has so carefully created for herself.

Valencia In love with
To Josie, Valencia is warm like the sun. Her friendly and adorkable personality naturally brings people close to her, and Josie was instantly drawn to that warmth. She began to admire Valencia for how genuine she was and the way her kindness knows no bounds. Her time at work came to be enjoyable thanks to the fact that she gets to be close to Valencia.
Nerissa Confidant
Josephine's closest co-worker and friend. The way Nerissa presents herself reminds Josephine of her family and her home. When the pair are not serving customers, they casually enjoy afternoon tea time together. Occasionally, Josie will unconsciously mimic Nerissa's mannerism, the same way as she was taught back home.
Jujube Always bouncing around Co-Worker
Jubilee is someone who Josephine has trouble keeping up with. Her never ending optimism and live it up party style clashes with the quiet that came with years worth of dignified upbringing. Though she is out of her element, Josephine admires Jubilee's ability to be herself. One can easily see that her fans are captivated by her energy. She has noticed, however, that Jubilee tends to lack boundaries...
Topi Clueless Co-Worker
A nice co-worker to be around. Josie enjoys watching Topi's interactions, as he is always carefree and young at heart. He seems to be the baby brother of most everyone, and gets into all kinds of trouble (Nerissa has shared many stories!). She is most interacted in the fact that he is Valencia's cousin.
Capucine Soft and quiet
Josie apreciate Capi calm and quiet manner. In a place where most of the workers are rather loud or easily distracted, Capi shines as a good employee. Of course Capi becomes a flushes mess whenever Topi is around, however Josie finds that quite endeering. However it's hard to find oportunities to chat while Capi is with Fior most of the time...

Bambi Scaredy cat
Much like a cat, if you try and approach Bambi she will likely run away, but if you wait patiently then she will simply come to you. Josephine understands Bambi's struggles with loving herself for who she is, as she shares the same burden. She empathizes with the pink doe, and will occasionally indulge in pleasant conversations about hair products and bath bombs, to raise her spirits.
