Martin attends art school with all of the other Boys, Leif, Tripp, Cameron, Luke, and Thomas. They all room together, and are all best friends. Martin is very reserved, but enjoys supporting his friends in their endeavors. He can play guitar, and often practices on the balcony of their apartment when hit with an exceptionally bad night of insomnia. Martin was the 5th of the Boys to get powers.

Martin's associated monster is Alora, who is constantly possessing his dreams, as that's the only way she can speak to him. Martin is the only person she trusts, and eventually, they form a bond close enough that she can appear to him in the real world, although no one else can see her. Martin's abilities involve being able to put people to sleep (which he frequently uses on himself), being able to see into their dreams, and eventually he gains the ability to see people's memories through fragmented dreams inside of them. He can also see small dream creatures, various blobs, and forms that have no real-world shape. He's friendly to them, and so they become attached and tend to follow him around

When Martin uses his powers, his world turns shades of blue and yellow. If someone were to look closely at him while this is happening, they'd see his eyes turn the same colors
