Kiibe was a Viserian Hellhound who Nimona grew up with during her time living in the wandering circus with her father. The two always had a close bond, especially as Nimona was set to raise and train Kiibe in order for her to learn how to handle dangerous animals from an early age.
Kiibe was never easy to handle. Viserian Hellhounds are known for their strong personality and fierce aggressiveness, and Kiibe was no exception to this. He gave Nimona many injuries during training, lashing out and trying to overthrow her at any oppertunity he was given for as long as he didn't see her as higher in the hierarchy. It took many years before Nimona got the confidence, calmness, and sense of superiority which it took to securely place herself above him in their hierarchy, namely it took her until her early teens. But asshe did, she kept it, and Kiibe respected it ever since.

While they worked in the circus, Nimona would often do acts with Kiibe once she begun doing solo acts without her father, something that only strenghtened their bond and loyalty to each other further. It came without saying that Kiibe would follow Nimona to the domain of Luxie when she would start her project there. Before so, with the rest of the preperations she did for the departure, she trained him intensely in combat and defence so that he may defend not just her, but her entire estate when it was made.
That was just what Kiibe did, once they settled into the domain of Luxie. He was always seen at the estate gates while Nimona was out, defending it from any hostile heart devil or other creature that may come too close. He was more than capable of this with his training as well, as Viserian Hellhounds are some of the physically strongest hellhounds that exist and massive in size, easily the size of a large horse. Despite heart devil's incredible physical powers, most of them stood no match to Kiibe. However, should a master appear, or a heart devil matching in power of one, Kiibe would have to fall back into the estate, fending them off for however long it would take for Nimona to return. These occurances would oftentimes leave Kiibe wounded, and over time the wounds would accumulate resulting in him getting weaker and weaker with age.

Kiibe was, by all accounts, an incredible companion to Nimona whom she loved dearly. So when one of the heart devils she housed decided to go against the rules she had set and ended up wih the children of Kiibe, she decided to let the heart devil carry them out as punishment. An ordeal that ultimately resulted in the heart devils death during birth, something Nimona was very aware of.
Kiibe thereby became the father of two fierce daughters. Daughters, which Nimona took upon herself to raise. She regarded the two as close enough to be her own daughters, and with her own knowledge of havign raised Kiibe as a child, she raised these two to become his successors. She fiercly trained them to be just as loyal and obidient as Kiibe, while keeping that special kind of bloodlust in them that came with being a mixture of a heart devil and an Viserian Hellhound. Kiibe himself raised them as he could as well, immensely helping in them accepting Nimona as the highest in the hierarchy without them trying to fight her all the time as he had.

After many years of being by Nimona's side, Kiibe finally succumbed to all his accumulated wounds shortly after the first successful test run of Nimona's project. It was with an incredibly heavy heart that Nimona said goodbye to her childhood companion, but she made sure that the last months of his life were the most luxurious and calm he had ever experienced, and made sure that his passing was as free of pain as she could make it.
He was burried in the backyard of the estate in one of the flower beds to forever protect the estate beyond death.

Nimona's father always wanted a child, but never quite found someone he wanted to have one with who was also willing to travel with the circus he worked in. That was how Nimona's mother came into play. Her mother was a fiesty and headstrong heart devil her father met during his travels. Seeing her as a good partner for a child, he offered her to raise and take care of the child alone while all her mother had to do was give birth. This was an offer her mother gladly took; while heart devils love having children, they rarely want to actually care for them, so this was a golden oppertunity for her. Thus her mother traveled with the circus for the whole pregnancy, before promtly leaving after giving birth, leaving Nimona with her father.

Nimona's father was a very caring parent, if strict with dicipline. With the help of his coworkers in the circus, he raised Nimona as best he could, making sure she was taught how to handle wild, dangerous animals from very young. He was the one who gifted Nimona her Viserian Hellhound Kiibe when she was but 4 years old, to familiarize her with raising animals. He also had her participate in his circus acts, first only rarely, then more and more until she could do solo acts. Aside from that, he treid passing down as much of his knowledge to her as he could, in the hope it would make life easier for her and hoping she'd stay to work in the circus alongside him
That wasn't quite what happened however.

When Nimona came to him with her wish to start her project, he was saddened she wouldn't stay by his side, but determined to help her in any way he could so that she could achieve her dreams. He had many strings to pull from, and though he didn't go with her to the domain of Luxie, he kept supporting her from wherever his circus was.
For a long time after Nimona left, she only got to write letters with him for long periods of time, maybe seeing him once or twice a year in person. Despite that, the both of them were always delighted for their letter exchanges and the short meetings they did have. Each time they met, they'd catch up on what had happened in the year, and each year Nimona's father was delighted to hear of her progress and how happy she was doing what she was passionte for.

By the time he became too old to work in his wandering circus anymore, Nimona had made quite the name for herself. Her project had alrady had a couple successful test runs and was in a more stable place. When he came to her door to live with her in his old days, she warmly welcomed him in and showed him properly around. It was a delight to her, and especailly him, that he came to live with herin her estate. Getting to witness and observe all that she had accomplished and the many people she housed with barely any issues, was truly something wonderful for him.
