Aurora (Rory) Stubbs is Toby's mom, a Russian blue.

She and Toby's dad worked together in office, her being his secretary. She was never one for office jobs however, so after he died, she decided to live her dream to travel the world. Often times she'll be taking taking risks and sight-seeing.

Her relationship with Toby is somewhat stilted; they've been close, but after Mayor Stubbs' untimely death she wanted to escape from everything. She still provides emotional support for her son when needed, but it might not be the most useful advice.
