Electrokinesis

Due to the unusual mutation Manic Despair planted within her, her extreme emotions are manifested through Electrokinesis--otherwise known as Electricity Manipulation. Unlike others, Dakota has learned to harness her abilities without needing an emotional trigger. While Dakota can now control the strength/wattage of her blasts, she has yet to grasp emotional control. On occasion, when she is particularly emotional, lightning will escape from her without her meaning to.

Lithe Body

While not the strongest or the most durable of Tiene Hills, Dakota is the most dexterous by far. She's the 'glass canon' of the group. She is fast, agile, and able to dodge countless attacks before getting hit. Due to her mutation, she is also immune to her own lightning strikes, meaning she cannot be paralyzed or stunned. Her hair is exempt from this, though. Weird mutant things.

Lightning Rod

A special technique that only works during rainstorms. By channeling all of her energy, Dakota can summon a bolt of lightning onto one particular point, utilizing the weather conditions in tandem with her powers. This is an incredibly powerful strike, but it takes all of Dakota's concentration and energy in order to be successful. She is also vulnerable to attack during and after the technique. As of right now, she can only use it once per battle.

Absorption

Dakota can absorb copious amounts of electrity into her own body, thus supercharging her attacks. This technique can be used in tandem with Lightning Rod, but Dakota has yet to achieve this combo in combat. By taking a blow of electricity, she can add that damage to her own strike. It's unknown how much electricity her body can take at one time.

Personality

Dakota is a lot of things all at once. She's hyperactive, she's cheerful, she's bubbly, and is never without energy. Does she even sleep? Dakota is a girl who is always in motion. Whether it's in the base or the battlefield, she is never standing still.

No seconds go to waste when you're with Dakota. She always has to be doing something, as if taking a moment to stop and reflect will kill her. Her consistent momentum, and lack of overall focus, can be both an amusement and an annoyance to her friends. But she's always looking to make other's happy! She wants to make memories and have fun with the people who make her feel wanted, and keep her safe.

As the youngest of the group, Dakota is the universal little sister of Tiene Hills. In battle, she's often being protected and watched over by her friends--which isn't a bad thing considering how reckless she can be! She has trouble reading the room sometimes, given her age and her personality. She has very little filter, talks very fast, and wears her heart on her sleeve. She's 13, so, she lives in her own little world and has little tact.

Dakota's main mission in life is to have fun and enjoy herself. This is all well and good, but this point of view also clearly portrays her naivety. Tiene Hills to her is not a job or mission, but a fun romp where she gets to be a superhero, with no consequences. She seeks excitement and adventure, believing that the things she does will have no reprecussions.

She moves so fast through life, as if she's running from something. But what could she be running from, and why?

• Dakota is a lesbian!
• The self-proclaimed "Pancake Lord."
• Due to a traumatic experience, Dakota spent her first year at Tiene Hills mute. The rest of the kids didn't even know her name until, suddenly, her blockage lifted. She hasn't shut her mouth ever since.
• Her asymmetrical hairstyle isn't a fashion statement! It's actually the result of an accident. She got overexcited, and her electrical sparks caught her hair on fire! She maintains the asymmetry because she finds it cool.
