N/A, Sephenia was born on Wild Equines v2.
so far
Sephenia was born in a union between Winter Solstice, the Seraphim of Utopia, and Battle Cry, a mortal stallion and one of her mother's good friends. Her birth occurred in a moment of turmoil for the entirety of Wild Equines, as the impending apocalypse threatened them all. The Four Horsemen roamed the Earth and the anti-christ, Vyreth, was born. Seph's mother marked Seph with a Utopian brand to remind Seph of her mission to protect the mortals from the Four Horsemen and from Vyreth. From an early age, Seph's righteous mission was instilled in her. After her birth, her mother left her in the care of Battle Cry and Battle Cry's mate, Brina. However, Battle Cry disappeared shortly after she was born and Seph instead had to rely on her adoptive mother, Brina, for support, as well as her half-siblings, Honos, Perun, and Warrior's Cry of Regret. However, Seph's mission called her out at an early age and she left the comfort of her adoptive family at the age of two to make her own way in the world and to protect the mortals from the rage of the Underworld. She promised that she would visit, but this is not a promise she would end up keeping.
Seph met a Light stallion named Spartan in the Free lands, with whom she struck up a friendship with. She then continued on to Dark Woods, her mother's homelands, and made this her home base, taking care to lay low and not attract any attention to herself. She went out often to gather information about the Four Horsemen and Vyreth, but too soon it seemed information dried up. Soon, it seemed like the Four Horsemen had never roamed Wild Equines and Vyreth was no where to be found. Frustrated at this, Seph drifted farther and farther away from her target areas and ended up meeting a stallion named Forty Six & Two.
From the get-go, she was cautious around the stallion with split-personalities, but she ended up enjoying his company greatly. Eventually she left Dark Woods to live with him and worked under his guidance, doing spying missions as well as training alongside him. Whatever her feelings were for him, it was enough to make her stay and forget her purpose in the world - which was easy enough seeing as it appeared to gone. She became completely loyal to him and did whatever he asked. However, this turned out badly for her as his split-personality took hold of him one day. She had been unsuspecting and only until he hit her did she realize that something was wrong. When he demanded sex from her, she fought him off, refusing him at every step. However, the more he persisted the more she wondered what that would be like and eventually gave in to him. The moment she gave in she knew she'd made a terrible error as he violated her and was not at all gentle like the personality that she cared for would have been. After he was through, she left immediately, broken inside. When she discovered that she was pregnant, it only made everything worse.
She hung out around the Free lands completely during her pregnancy, having a crisis of identity and purpose, not knowing what to do with herself. She felt dirty, used, and utterly foolish. She had trusted him and cared for him too much - he had clouded her judgment and she had paid the price for it. As eleven months came and the birthing day arrived, she went to Tulor Woods as all mares did, and prepared to give birth. She was alone and the birth was agony. Something was wrong and it did not go smoothly for her. After the child was born - a colt she named Sverrir - she could not get up. She had lost a lot of blood birthing him and she was weak and dizzy. This made it extremely easy for her to be kidnapped.
They had followed her there and they took her away, a whole group of them. She never knew what became of her son - whether they killed him or converted him or left him there to starve. The only name she ever got out of them was "Ghost." A group devoted to the Underworld. She could not understand why they had taken her when the apocalypse had never happened and she was nothing special. They beat, starved, and tortured her for five years, asking for information and Seph figured they also did it because they could. She managed to not say anything for a while, but she eventually gave in and told them everything she knew. She was completely broken inside, no purpose, no guidance, beaten-up, and broken down, a new mother to a child she had never asked for who she would probably never see again. Eventually the torture died down as she could no longer give anything up, but they still held here there and fed her minimally. Seph figured they wanted to watch her wither away to nothing and she did long for the warm embrace of death. But it wouldn't come for her. Instead, a new chapter of her life would begin.
It was a day just like any other when Sephenia heard an unfamiliar voice through the bars of her cell and witnessed a very young colt opening her cell door. His name was Xovad and he told her that he was there to rescue her on behalf of Utopia. The two of them managed to escape the cells and Xovad brought her to Lyrarcor, home of his mother, the Versai mare Allocen. Seph decided to stay, as she didn't really have a lot of options. However, she was distant and cold and wanted to be left alone. Two weeks after her arrival in Lyrarcor she fled the territory in a spell of panic and ended up in the Free land of Geysir, where she ran into the Light King, Coreion. The two of them ended up taking a walk on the beach together and Sephenia felt more comfortable with him than she had with anyone else in a long time. She went back to Lyrarcor, but continued to remain by herself, awkward around the other herd members. Eventually, she decided to go to Rainforest Beach where Coreion lived, to live with him and hopefully get more comfortable.
