Intro

Jubilee is a Jellybean Dragon who was orphaned at the age of seven years old after a tragic car accident took her parents, Christine and Marc, away from her. Jubilee has a love for superheroes and comic books, something which stems from her biological father's love for them as well. Her most prized possessions are and will likely always be the comic books which he left her. Jubilee had a hard time at the orphanage where she was placed, amidst the bullying and the difficulties in getting adopted as her mental disability was off-putting to many potential adoptive families. During her time there, she became withdrawn and kept mostly to herself.

Once she was adopted into a loving home by the perfect family for her, she's now thrived and blossomed into a girl who is...relatively confident in herself. Mostly, she's embraced who she is and what she loves and isn't afraid to show that passion, but at the same time, still a bit scared and wary (particularly in a school setting) about how others will treat her because of this. Which is why her friendship with Loki is perhaps the best thing for her as well as her adoption of her pet and emotional support dog, Thor. Her biggest sign of trust in an individual is allowing them to touch or read her father's comic book collection. She is currently very likely going to grow up to become a writer and artist for her very own superhero comic book series.

At her core Jubilee is a very ebullient and effervescent bean, something which other beans do not often see until they get to know her and she opens up to them...or if they get into a conversation with her about something that she's passionate about. She is a very sweet, peaceable, and lovable small bean, who would never want to hurt others or cause them pain.

However, underestimating Billy and mistaking the aforementioned traits as weaknesses is perhaps the worst mistake that any bean could make because if provoked, she will fight back in self-defense and also come to the defense of others. Jubilee is a very trustworthy bean, one that a friend can rely on during both the good times and the bad times. She'll be there for them 'til the end of the line. Jubilee can be quite guarded and wary of other beans, something that stems from her history of bullying, the upside of this is that her friends are chosen carefully and are therefore quality ones. Jubilee is also a bit rough around the edges, she's definitely a far cry from lady-like and she likes it that way. She'll never pretend to be something or someone that she's not in order to impress anyone. That being said, Jubilee will hide certain aspects of her physical appearance in order to avoid ridicule. Such as the case with her right eye.

Jubilee was the only child born to her parents Christine and Marc, who both loved her very much, but who were both cruelly taken away from her when she was six years old in a tragic accident. Among the few things that she received from her parents after their death and before she ended up in an orphanage was her father Marc's comic book collection comprised solely of comics of superheroes. Among her favorites within his collection were the comics relating to her favorite characters or groups, such as the X-Men, Wolverine, Iron Man, The Avengers, Daredevil, Squirrel Girl, Captain America, Flash, Wonder Woman, Super Girl, and Green Arrow just to name a few. Unfortunately, several of her comics were confiscated from her by the beans in charge of the orphanage that she was sent to, St. Melangell Orphanage, because they were deemed inappropriate for a child of her age.

During her time in the orphanage, she has been the victim of a great deal of bullying. The other girls would make fun of her because she was more like a boy than a girl and the boys all made fun of her because she was a girl and they believed that girls didn’t belong reading comic books about superheroes. That was boy stuff.

More times than Billy would like, these incidences would often led to fights, especially when the boys would try to take her comics for their own. In the beginning, Jubilee wouldn’t fight back, but as time wore on, she became more willing to fight back, but only defensively as she had a personal code about not causing lasting harm to any individuals. She was also perceived the comments that the nuns made about her eye color as being bullied as well, which would eventually lead her when she was adopted to wear a color changing contact so it would look like her other eye. Whenever Jubilee wasn’t reading comic books or being bullied, she could be found running around playgrounds, parks, her elementary school campus, and the orphanage pretending to be a superhero by the name of Rogue Firework with naught but her favorite blanket tied around her neck as a cape and paper mask she made at school worn over her glasses.

Billy was eventually adopted at the age seven by Papyllon and Zephine Vesela-DeWitt, who also adopted her confiscated comic books upon their adoption of Billy. Within the family that they provided, Jubilee truly began to flourish once she had gotten used to living with them. Her adoptive mom didn’t try to steer her away from comic books and superheroes and instead towards doing or wearing more girly, feminine things. Which meant that she could indulge in more feminine things only if she wanted to. If there was one thing that her adoptive parents could count on, it was the fact that she would use her allowance to buy herself some more superhero comic books. Her adoptive parents also introduced her to comic conventions, which enthralled her. She was awed by cosplaying and delighted by the fact that she could go to comic cons dressed up as a superhero and not be made fun of.

Jubilee first met Elliot in the school library on her first day of school, they struck up a friendship faster than a match lights a firecracker and their friendship grew bigger very quickly. They shared so much in common and Jubilee came to trust him so very much that she let him touch and read her comic books, which is the biggest sign of her trust in another person because her comics are her most valued possessions. After this their friendship became even stronger and they were inseparable, always being found playing together or reading together. Elliot and Jubilee were each other's only best friend, but that was okay by them because in their opinions, they only needed each other. During the course of their friendship they would have sleepovers with superhero movie or TV show marathons; Elliot gave Jubilee the nickname Juju and Jubilee started a tradition between them of creating comic books every year to chronicle their friendship, they called it The Rogue Firework and Mischief Maker and depicted them as superheroes who would battle villains who were personifications or metaphors for bullies or challenges that they had.

Elliot became Jubilee's rock when she was at school and the only one her age that she really trusted, he was the only bean who wasn't afraid of her or thought that she was weird for her heterochromia or her ADHD and she loved him for it. He was patience with her when no one else was and his acceptance of her no matter what allowed her to be comfortable with him and secure around him, making her not want to be parted from him for very long. Whenever they were not at school, or able to hang out, one could certainly bet that the two of them would be texting, skyping, or calling each other.

Their friendship understandably eventually led to Jubilee beginning to have feelings for Elliot beyond just friendship during her pre-teen years, when she began to form a crush on him. Perhaps, if she was being completely honest, she had always had a crush on him. Either way, she didn't tell him about or reveal to him, but it was apparently obvious to everyone else. Including their families as well as their viewers/followers of their YouTube channel that they created where they would talk about and explain superhero comics and characters as well as comment and critique on them together.
