History

As a boy, Alton meets a beautiful dragon Demon...

When Alton was a young orphan boy, no more than 10 years old, his parents and many of those from their kingdom who had fought in 'The War' (against demons)- ended up wandering the streets and relying on the 'kind' souls of others to help them survive. Having no one to tell him of the dangers of the world outside the kingdom walls, Alton often found himself exploring the nearby woods alone.

It is upon one of these journeys does he encounter, Slea. A beautiful young dragonoid demon, not much taller than him. The two become quick friends, both of whom know very little about the other's species as they have been sheltered all their lives by those they live with. It became apparent after multiple visits to the forest however, that they would not be able to see each other as much as they'd care to, when Alton comes face to face with Slea's Hellspawn mother. A humongous 20foot dragonoid demon, who did not take kindly to humans of any sort, young or old, he is mercilessly threatened into leaving Slea alone for good.

This wouldn't remain the case, however, as certain events lead Slea and Alton back together a few years later.

Slea and her mother were being hunted by Slayers. Slayer's whose soul purpose in life was to vanquish the spiteful demons that plagued their realm, which in their eyes, meant every single one of them. Slea's own mother, despite her power, fell to the crowd that now perused her daughter, and the young demon was forced to flee.

Alton, having no one of value waiting for him back in the kingdom, refused to leave Slea to an unknown fate, and ran away with her. In the eyes of the Slayers, this was punishable by death- as the boy was clearly under the demon's spell, and was lost to humanity forever.

Alton was not able to hide his friend as the years continued on, as Slea's height was beginning to reach that of her mother's. The Slayers were relentless, and despite Alton and Slea's efforts, of constantly hiding and running, could not stop their final ambush.

Slea was gravely wounded protecting Alton from the slayers attacks, those of which that were aimed at her as well. It was in this moment that she and Alton's soul powers combined.

In Hell, the realm of demons, two souls can be 'compatible' with one another- syncing up together in a heated moment, and thus unleashing devastating magic abilities.

The slayers didn't stand a chance.

It was after this that the two realized what they could do with this new found power; a way of hiding and living together the way they'd always wanted, and a way to save Slea from the impending death from the wounds the slayers had previously inflicted - and with Slea's weakened state, it seemed like this was the one good option they'd had for years.

It took a lot of trial and effort, on Alton's behalf mostly, and Slea's broken knowledge on magic (having not learned everything she could have from her Hellspawn mother) but he was eventually able to harness a magic powerful enough to pull Slea's soul from her dying body, and place it into that of a human body. The human body, however, was not empty. The poor soul of the unsuspecting human woman- whom Alton had tricked into helping him, realized only too late, that she was not longed for this world- or any, for that matter. Her soul was shattered upon the entry of the larger, demon soul, and was lost to the emptiness that that all entitled...

Perhaps Slea's demon aura had truly influenced Alton over the years, just as the Slayer's had suspected, for him to do such a heartless act, or perhaps the two hadn't known what would happen to this woman's soul when Slea's soul entered the body, but either way, Alton crossed a boundary that day- and so began his interest in magic.

As a human, Slea's form changed the outer shell of the body she now inhabited. She took on her unusual light blue and purple colouring, that she had as a demon, bringing forth an almost ethereal appearance in her features, that of which turned the eyes of everyone they passed. Was she a human? they'd wonder. This was not the initial plan, of course- they'd done this in hopes of having Slea lay low... she was able to dye her hair and tone down her appearance as best she could- and from there, the two could finally live the life they'd dreamed for one another...

The interest of Magic...

In the years leading up to the grand finale of their time together- Slea and Alton practiced magic together- producing a book of their findings. Alton is fascinated by the relics that he and Slea are able to pull from other realms, and of the objects and creatures they are able to view on the otherside- dappling in the world of Portal magic, which Slea called it. Her mother, after all, had come through a portal to this realm, or so she'd always been told. This fascinated Alton immensely and Slea, who had only the knowledge her mother had left her with, aided Alton in these discoveries, with her own fascination of the sort. The book they created is packed full of spells and their findings through the years. ... hundreds of years later, this book would eventually be discovered by Lolita- a little girl kidnapped by a demon she too had encountered in the woods at a young age- but with vastly different outcomes for her and her older brother- Markus. Who would go on to inherit the book, after it was used to liberate them from said demon...

It is years later- that Alton and Slea have a beautiful and strange looking child by the name of Symphia. A true human, of course, having been born from a human body, but that of which contained much more magical ability than a normal human should. It was this discovery that lead them to realize that Slea had given her soul power to this child, unknowingly upon birth. Slea's soul had begun to crack, and break, and Alton began a mad rush to find a way to cure her of this 'illness' they'd discovered. Eventually, however, Slea was unable to hold herself together- and when Symphia turned 13, her mother's soul power was no more. Slea's soul shattered- and in doing so, her existence in all realms hit its finale. She would not reincarnate, and she would not go to Hell. She was just... gone.

A sad and pathetic creature...

A lonely human soul, warped and bent in so much despair that it takes on a monstrous form. Bound to the obsession that broke him to pieces, Symphia's father is the only creature in existence of all known realms, to be a human in demon form.

Being unable to prevent the death of his beloved wife, and is helpless to save the slaughtering of his daughter, at the hands of powerful demon, he turns to the one thing he'd been obsessing over for years: magic. In a state of hysteric madness, this man calls forth his daughter's soul and the remnants of the broken pieces of his late demon wife, and turns into the demon known as Cutts- losing all memories of his human self, only the feelings he felt before his change are what's left behind: loneliness, despair, and the gnawing sense of obsession that had driven him to such a state.
