Oli is an individual with a bit of a nervous disposition. One not aquainted with him may presume he's stoic and quiet, an artist trapped in his own world- But really Oli has no thoughts, head empty.
Oli is somewhat a jack of all trades when it comes to his skill set. He enjoys programming and sees it as the safest option for a career. (Now that he's been selected to become the world's programming moderator, he was actually correct in that judgement.) In his free time, he also enjoys painting still-life and playing bass guitar in his friend's band. Oli is a sentsitive soul, he carries around small berries in a small box in his pocket to give to people when they get hungry/upset. He's described by Bramble as "tidy, but not organised." Oli participates in "rituals" that Bramble finds to be strange but ultimately harmless, such as repeatedly checking the oven is off after cooking and having to run back to his house to make sure the door is "definetly locked" after leaving.

Oli was born 11th November 2003 in Venice, Italy. 2 years later in 2005, Oli gained a younger sister, Alexa.

ChildhoodWhen he was 6 years old (2009), his family moved to Bristol, England, where he spent most of his time growing up. (Occasionally his family would take trips back to Italy to see his family though.) Due to learning English at such a young age, Oli's voice is mostly devoid of an Italian accent and most people assume he's British- But not surprised to find out he's Italian. Growing up in Bristol gave Oli a huge appreciation for art of all forms- From classical paintings to urban street-art and grafitti.

TeenagehoodAs a teenager, Oli took Art and Computer-Science GCSE. However, when Oli was 16 (November 2019), Oli and his family was convicted of Knowing About Magic and was sent to live in South Mana for a few weeks while the legal stuff cooled down. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Oli is still here in Autumn 2021.

Oli comes across as a good boy. He's got a warm looking face with kind looking eyes. He's a bit shy, but he in general has a gentle aura.

IdiolectOli has a tendency to say "uhm" and "err", when he's nervous and around new people. While this stuttering habit doesn't fully disappear when he's near people he trusts, it does lessen somewhat as he becomes more comfortable.

Oli has a warm and contagious chuckle.
Oli is brought to the verge of tears often (usually due to stress or seeing a particuarly moving piece of art) but doesn't break down into tears fully running down his face often. When he does, he cries quietly. He can talk without his voice wobbling while crying.

Oli, despite being a programmer and artistically gifted, wasn't very academically gifted. He barely scraped by in GCSE English, Maths and Science. Oli is a lot more street-smart than he is booksmart, and despite his shyness is actually very good at holding conversations.

Oli is a team player and very good at group work. He knuckles down and gets his sections of the work done quickly and then gets bored and starts helping other people with their agreed parts of the work.

Oli was the first moderator Aspen recruited and it shows. The two get along great!

Oli and Bramble, while first expecting to only know each other mutually through Aspen, both end up becoming friends even outside of work. The two reguarly joke back and fourth and are always ready to support the other whether it be in work related endeavours of emotionally.

Owen initally mistakes Oli for Bramble's boyfriend. Oli denies this. Owen also lends Oli some of his pyjamas. Oli later returns them.

- Oli's raspberry themeing has a double meaning. Not only did he get his start programming with a Raspberry Pi, but he also gives people raspberries (the berry) when they're sad.

- Oli's name means "Olive Tree." In folklore, olive trees are said to bring peace and healing. In Administrator, Oli often finds himself mediating people's arguments.
- His last name D'esposito comes from when Despacito was a funny meme back in 2019.
- The name "D'esposito" itself means "Son of Esposito" or "son of a father who was adopted."
- Crispin found the name D'esposito from Louis D'esposito, an American Film Producer who most notably works for MARVEL Studios.
