Kit is the hybrid, adoptive son of Corvan who likes to indulge in kleptomania.
Very curious about everything and anything, which often gets him into trouble. Doesn’t think through the consequences of his actions too much, rather lives in the moment. This is further cultivated by Corvan, who is a very “fly by the seat of your pants” sort of role model.
Corvan's adopted kid as of 19 BBY (8 yrs old). Kit was an illegitimate child who was the result of his mother having a fling with a zabrak pilot. She treated him as she would with any child she had but it was obvious that the other kids and his step dad didn't like him all that much, so he ran away on a cargo ship when he was about 9 and ran into Corvan later on after acting as a cabin boy on said freighter for a while (and Corvan needed a ride because he busted his ship). Seeing that the boy was without a parent, Corvan snatched him up figuring he'd raise him. He didn't figure the pilot of the freighter would be annoyed that one of his hired help got kidnapped and put a bounty on his head.
A Bothan who worked in the galley took Kit under his wing and began to teach him how to pickpocket people so the kid could earn a “little extra pay.” He acted as something of a “fun uncle” towards him and didn’t really do much to discipline Kit, instead showing him stealthier ways to swipe things and which things would go unnoticed by the people on the ship. Continues to pilfer afterwards as it's become something of a habit, except he gifts what he snatches to his Buir and Ba'buir now.
Corvan encouraged Kit's thievery at first since he was low on credits and they needed to make money somehow. Once he got back on his feet (with Grandpa Strak's help) though, he saw that Kit's kleptomania was only getting them into trouble and had to try to "unteach" him that bad habit. Unfortunately Kit likes shiny things and will grab them in the blink of an eye without thinking twice.
Has gotten a massive bounty on his and Corvan's head from stealing from Grand General Breen's estate when Corvan returned to Thyferra to rattle the Imperial's cage and show him that he wasn't afraid to come back to a place where a lot of people wanted him dead. It was, of course, a huge mistake.
Will come up with extravagant stories to explain where he "found" the items he stole. Kit is a terrible liar, but very good at being inventive about where the things "show up." Part of the reason why he goes after expensive stuff is because it reminds him of growing up with his family--seeing that they were wealthy--and the fancy things are nostalgic for him.
Kit sees Corvan more as an older brother at first.
He gets separated from Corvan at one point and rounded up with a bunch of other beings by slavers. It takes a week, but while the potential slaves are being shipped to Kessel, the ship is attacked and most if not all of the slavers killed. Kit doesn't know what's going on until the cell door opens and he sees the familiar armor of Corvan standing there; from then on, Kit starts to see him more as a father figure and takes to calling him "Dad," and eventually "Buir" once he picks up on the Mandalorian language.
Unknown to Kit, he himself would have been sent to Thyferra to be a slave in Grand General Breen's household, that being the cover story. Breen really wanted to punish the kid for stealing from him.

Life on Mirial
Kit got somewhat special treatment and attention from his mother when he was smaller. This changed when she had her fourth child and began to exclusively dote on her. His mother was very fickle with her affections and didn’t see this as a problem.
Being an illegitimate child, Kit was treated with scorn by his step-dad and half-siblings, especially when he came across as being his mother’s favorite. He saw the solution to the family friction in running away, removing the problem = himself.
Running with Buir
Once adopted by Corvan around 19 BBY, Kit enjoys a very fast-paced time of joining his new father in his odd jobs, mostly acting as a distraction. Since he was so sheltered, he doesn’t know too much about the galaxy and is excited to see so many new worlds, people, and of course, shiny expensive things to steal.
- Born 26 BBY
- Becomes interested in getting into the medical field since he wants to help patch up his dad when he gets himself beat up.
- Suffers from nightmares following being rescued from the slavers and will crawl onto Corvan's lap to sleep there instead of in his cabin on the ship, no matter if Corvan is piloting or hanging out in the galley.
- Steals for the thrill, and a bit for the attention.
