"HECK YEAH ALWAYS COOL TO MEET A FAN WE SHOULD PLAY A ROUND SOMETIME MY DUDE"
"That's my goddamn hero holy shit."
Dabbie's mom is the absolutely RADDEST person EVER!! How many moms would come on livestream to play Fortnite with their kids???
Dabbie is Kestrel's entire world, and the way she dotes on him really shows it. No matter what she has going on, she'll drop everything if he needs her to. She may not always understand the games he plays or what exactly he's always talking about, but she always tries her best to be enthusiastic about his interests.
When Dabbie was first set up to hang out with Nicolas by his mom, he was hesitant. Dude looked like a total nerd. But the longer he hangs out with Nicolas, the more Dabbie really looks up to him. Behind that weeb-nerd-ness is a genuinely lit dude.
Nicolas first hung around Dabbie because he was forced to by his dad. He didn't think they'd get along, with Dabbie's love for the wrong kind of video games and no appreciation for anime women. But then he met Kestrel, and now approaches Dabbie in a more fatherly way.
Ginny is, in Dabbie's eyes, the absolute cutest and sweetest and nicest girl in his entire class. He can't help but have a huge crush on her! He tries to act cool about it though; after all, he can't just let her know that he's crushing hard! But that doesn't mean he won't try to win her over!
Unfortunately for Ginny, she is fully aware of Dabbie's very obvious crush on her. Obviously she holds no feelings for him, and tries her best to maintain her "good sweet girl" image while brushing off her classmate's attempts to woo her. B a r f.
Dabbie looks up to Jackson like no one else in his life, thinking that's he's one of the dopest people he knows! He's a big role model for what a good father figure should be like, and one day, Dabbie wants to be that for other kids like him.
Dabbie reminds Jackson a lot of himself at that age, well, mainly having bad fathers. He tries his best to fill that roll and help Dabbie grow up with a normal, healthy life. It's because of that desire to let him grow up well that Jackson chose to not make him the next Master Thief.
