Kestrel's Links
Dabbie is Kestrel's entire world, and the way she dotes on him really shows it. No matter what she has going on, she'll drop everything if he needs her to. She may not always understand the games he plays or what exactly he's always talking about, but she always tries her best to be enthusiastic about his interests.
Dabbie's mom is the absolutely RADDEST person EVER!! How many moms would come on livestream to play Fortnite with their kids???
Kestrel is Finch's older sister. Their laziness drives her up a wall, but they're a good mentor to Dabbie, and Kestrel truly does care for them. She just wishes that they'd put a little more effort into their job.
Finch is Kestrel's younger sibling. They know first hand what a bad idea it is to go into any kind of debate with her, which is probably why they agreed to mentor Dabbie. Cares deeply for her, even if her sisterly wrath can be terrifying sometimes.
Kestrel often deals with Gustav as she's building evidence for her cases. She tried to go the sweet route, but as soon as that no longer worked, she wasn't afraid to put her foot down, so to speak. She doesn't particularly LIKE this sniveling man, but she'll do what she has to to get her case info.
It's common for Gustav to see Kestrel. As a lawyer, she always comes to him for files on someone. Normally he's not allowed to do that, but she's... persuasive. Even when he was no longer flustered by her looks, she scared him easily with a punch aimed at his head. Nowadays he dreads her coming, but he has one idea for how they both can benefit from this...
Kestrel is extremely grateful for Nicolas. She knows the age difference between him and Dabbie can make it hard for them to hang out, but having him as a positive male role model in her son's life is something she can't be thankful enough for. He's a good kid.
Nicolas always believed 2D women were the best, until he met Kestrel. She was a real 3D women, and in more ways than one! He's absolutely head over heels for her, and if getting close to her son is a way to get closer to her, then call him Dabbie's best friend!
Aysun is one of Kestrel's best friends, and one of the only people she feels comfortable confiding in. It warms her heart to see how well their children get along with one another.
Aysun and Kestrel have been close friends for a good, long time. Because they always spend time together, they try to get their kids to hang out as well. Aysun's glad to see his son with a reliable friend, and he's sure Kestrel feels the same.
Cher is one of Kestrel's best attorney's at her firm, and she admires her passion for justice. She sees a lot of herself in her, and is glad to pass the mantle down to someone so eager. She sees a lot of potential in her to do great things. The two seem to be good friends.
Kestrel is Cher's boss and one of her biggest inspirations to get into the field of law. She feels extremely lucky to get to be able to work and learn from such a pro and important force in the field as a defense attorney. The two seem to be good friends.
After seeing Lock's work in the courtroom, she's somewhat disappointed that he works on the opposite side to her own firm's work. He seems every bit as capable and fierce in court as his sister, and she holds great respect for him as well. For prosecution cases that her firm isn't defending against or she feels are just, she'll assist him in making a case where she can. Still, if she ever meets him in the courtroom, she WON'T be holding back.
Being a prosecutor, Lock doesn't exactly work at Kestrel's firm, though he's commonly seen spending his free time there to hang out with Cher. He looks up to Kestrel too and finds her to be incredibly talented. He fears the day he goes up against her.
Despite the odd introduction, Kestrel finds a very good friend in Jackson, especially after seeing how good he is for Dabbie. She appreciate all that he's done for her son, and as far as she's concerned, he's as much a part of their family as her or Dabbie.
One of the first people Jackson ran across after his time jump was Kestrel and her son. He met her when Cher showed him where she worked. He liked the atmosphere, and he DEFINITELY liked the looks. However, he found himself more attached to Dabbie, reminded of his own youth, and tried to be a good role model for him.
