  DESCRIPTION   

The Layman is a tall, slender Slugcat. His body creates a sticky adhesive that allows him to stick to walls and ceilings (like a Blue Lizard, but without the ability to climb on background elements). This adhesive can also be used to temporarily stick items together, giving The Layman the ability to create walls to deter enemies. Most of his body is covered in a bluish layer of oil that breaks down this sticky substance, but a few pink patches on his back and hands are oil-free, allowing him to stick things to his back. He occasionally suffers from terrible migraines, similar to Hunter negative Cycle effects.

  PERSONALITY   

The Layman is a dull and polite Slugcat, not a deep thinker but he certainly tries his best. He tends to forget things quickly, and needs to be constantly reminded of what he's supposed to be doing to actually get a job done. He is highly empathetic, and hates leaving any creature in danger-- even if he is prone to forget he is trying to help them once he tries.

  HISTORY   

The beginning of The Layman's life is a mystery. His first memory is of The Junker, and being found unconscious in the Garbage Wastes after 'falling from the sky'. As he had nothing better to do, he began helping The Junker in her day to day life. However, as his migraines have gotten worse and worse, he tends to stay closer to their home den. He is oddly fond of the color pink.
