Beast Mode is a transformation arte that is primarily used by Bestia. Taking bits of their MP and drawing out the inner beast within them, Hati is able to transform into a werewolf-esque creature that comes equipped with abilities that wolves tend to have, which includes but is not limited to a higher level of power, speed, and endurance. While in this form, he can be highly aggressive and prone to lose control when the moon is out. Most of the time, Hati only goes into this form if he feels an enemy is strong enough to be able to handle the strength of it. This arte is occasionally used as a basis for his fusion with Remi into their Unbound form.

Demon Fang

Often known as "Demon Fist" by unarmed users, Demon Fang is a basic technique is usually one of the first artes that most main protagonist characters throughout the Tales series have the capability to use this arte and tend to start off with/learn early. With a swing of his fist (or claws depending on the form), Hati launches a ground projectile towards a target. This arte helps keep enemies away from him temporarily and damage them from a distance, while awaiting support from an ally. However, this arte can travel only along the ground unless Hati pumps more power into the attack.

Ghost Wolf

Ghost Wolf is an arte that Hati uses by slashing the enemy from the front, then phases behind them nearly instantly, striking them once again with another slash. This can be used easily to avoid an enemy's attack, but it is hard to link combos with it until it is used many times to get the gist of it. This is a arte that Hati mastered by himself without the aid of his father (something Fenrir is jealous about). He often uses it to strike an enemy from behind or escape the range of move. Commonly, you will see him use it whenever he's in his unbound form.

First Aid

First Aid is the first magic arte that Hati taught to himself in order to heal his father whenever he comes back harmed. He would eventually learn how to get better at it through some help from Estelle. With a small amount of MP and a quiet chant, a magic glyph forms underneath the target of Hati's choice and bathes them in a warm light. This light would heal the target 25% of their health. Most of the time, Hati tends to use this arte whenever he's only healing one person at a time and spare Estelle from using too much MP.

Dark Chase

Dark Chase is an arte that Raven taught Hati after the young man pleaded with him about learning how to use the arte when he first saw it. With it, Hati back-flips and fires a wisp of violet energy from his hands/mouth. This energy moves in an arc and directly targets the enemy. Hati uses this arc to mostly preciously hit areas of a monster that he can't or targets that require perfect aim to hit such as a button that may be far away from him. Interesting enough, he is able to cancel it in mid attack and direct it with a finger.

Falling Leaf is an arte that Hati saw Repede use in the middle of night that he asked the canine to reach him in hopes to make it easier to evade things. When used, Hati sneaks behind the enemy almost at once in a brief flicker of light. It is possible to avoid attacks from the enemy with this arte, but it does not provide any damage. However, as it usually is a base arte, it can be used as a means to build-up a decent combo if Hati prepares an arte as soon as he finishes using Falling Leaf.

Fireball

Being one of his first magic attacking artes, Fireball is one of the common ones that Hati tends to use. With some MP, Hati shoots off one or more fireballs at the enemy. These fireballs are capable of homing in on an enemy target, regardless of their position on the battlefield. This spell tends to do minimum damage, decreasing its usefulness as Hati knows more powerful area-based spells. An interesting thing to note is the arte does get stronger, the more Hati uses it in battle. It's to the point that the number of fireballs increases, the more he uses it.

Stone Blast

Akin to Fireball, Stone Blast is the second magic attacking arte that Hati learned that is essentially a basic earth arte. When the spell is used, small stones are shot from the ground below the enemy. This spell causes a moderate amount of damage within a small range. The sizes of these rocks can grow, Hati uses them. It's akin to how his Fireball works with the exception being that instead of the number increase, it's more the range of the move itself. Hati tends to use this as a means to give him space to breathe.

Oddly enough, instead of knowing Champagne, Hati knows the Intermediate water spell: Splash. He cites that Champagne was oddly more complicated than Splash to him. Regardless, when the spell is used, its appearance can be one of two things. On one hand, it causes a series of water streams to fall on enemies within an area of effect. On the other hand, a single stream of water is released from a vase that is summoned above the enemy after knocking them down with it. The range of the move increases, the more Hati uses. Not only that but this move is much stronger during the rain.

Spread Zero

Spread Zero is an arte that Hati had to use as a means to help the group avoid being spotted by the knights near the entrance of the continent. Spread Zero creates an orb of darkness where the target is, even if they happen to be in the air. It does more damage during the night with the durability lasting a bit longer during that time. This move can be used as a means to temporarily blind the enemy due to the sheer mass of darkness coupled with the damage one receives while in the center of it. The spell effect always appears near the targeted enemy, even if they are knocked far into the air.

Beast is classic melee artes that is typically used by swordsman arte and as an unarmed fighter. When this arte is activated, Hati slams the target with extreme force, creating a blast of energy in the image of a wolf's head. This forces all nearby enemies to be blasted away and knocked to the ground. This is an effective arte to clear mobs when surrounded by many enemies because of its power and force. This is the first Arcane arte that Hati learned due to it being one that can cause enemies to be knocked down and something he learned from his father.

Final Gale

    Yuri

Final Gale is an arte that Hati learned from watching Yuri and practicing the arte by himself. When used, Hati slashes the air twice with his claws, hurling an X-shaped wind-elemental projectile toward the enemy. Final Gale inflicts more damage the farther away the enemy is from Hati. The projectile's range is extended to reach across the full length of the battlefield. It took him a while to realize that it wasn't initially a arte he should be able to use to begin with, given the nature of how it was made.

Raging Blast

Raging Blast is an arte where Hati reaches forward at the target. Gathering mana, the male uses it to change it into explosive energy in his palm, causing any nearby enemies to be blasted away and knocked to the ground. Although this attack does not have a wide blast radius, it is useful to clear away small groups of enemies. Often, Hati likes to use it as a bit of a surprise attack for the enemy and is quick to follow it up with various combos whenever he knocks down an enemy with it. Interestingly enough, he tends to mostly use this outside his beast forms more often than not.

Guardian Field

Guardian Field is commonly one of Hati's best arte when it comes to battle. When Hati uses it, he slams his foot down on the ground as a field of light is summoned around or near him. This ends up damaging all enemies within it and pushing them away. However, there is another addition that makes this arte so useful and that's the fact it also has the ability to heal the user and surrounding allies. Guardian Field is slow to execute, making it extremely impractical for combo purposes, but it can be useful to help protect and heal party members.

Holy Lance

This arte took after Fenrir leaves the party almost halfway into act 2 for Hati to master. Holy Lance is a spell that causes many sharp spears of light to form in a circular pattern in the air while a magical glyph is formed around the enemy. The spears point down at an angle toward the target, rapidly striking the earth in sequence to pierce the enemy. This is followed by a small blast of light as the spears detonate. It becomes Hati's signature arte for him to use once he has properly mastered it.

Negative Gate

Negative Gate is an arte that Hati mastered relatively quickly and is one of his more useful ones that he uses in place of Spread Zero. With it, the spell creates a sphere of dark energy that damages enemies. This spell can also take the form of a black cloud emerging from a violet portal opening under the enemy, from which tendrils of darkness also emerge and wave around to damage nearby opponents. It should be noted this arte drags enemies closer to the center of it and increases with range.

Spiral Flare

Spiral Flare is one of the few artes that Hati doesn't use too often. When Spiral Flare is activated, it sends a fiery tornado forward to damage enemies in its path. Although it can be very easy for this arte due to its initial linear non-tracking attack path, it will begin tracking the targeted enemy after more than 200 uses. That in itself won't be for a while since Hati doesn't feel the need to really use it since he prefers to use Fireball due to the amount of low MP cost the arte has.

Rendering Drop

Rendering Drop is an arte that Hati personally learned from Karol as an excuse to explain away why he was watching him during break, With it, Hati flips himself in the air and slams his feet down upon the target in a flash of glowing energy. Occasionally, he slams down on the ground in front of the enemy, sending up a pillar of earth underneath them. Normally, it takes a while for this to be adjusted to be aerial but Hati picked it up in the first few tries.

Bloody Howling

Bloody Howling is an interesting arte as it is something that Hati learned from reading over a book his father had. When the spell is activated, it usually entails the assault of the enemies by a dark or otherworldly force, sometimes described as an anathema that ravages the enemy party. This often takes the form of small blue flames forming an octagon-like glyph on the ground, and pink-red flames of dark energy erupting from the ground as it cries out an eerie moan. This can hit enemies that happened to be knocked down.

Meteor Storm is one of Hati's rarely used arte due to the amount of MP that it costs to use it. The spell itself causes meteors to rain down upon the battlefield, causing explosions as they collide with the ground. The arte is capable of hitting all enemies on the field, but will not hit every location on the field, so it is possible for enemies to completely avoid the meteors. While the positions that the meteors land in appear to be random, there is often a set pattern to them.

Frigid Coffin

Frigid Coffin is an arte that is shown to be much stronger whenever Hati is near the water or in some form of cold place. When cast, the spell causes icicles to form around the target, trapping it within the formation. Afterward, a large ice shard in the sword appears in the sky and launches itself at an angle into the enemy, shattering the ice and injuring the enemy before permitting its release. Hati does take a bit of time to properly master this due to the amount of concentration needed.

Hell Gate

Hell Gate is a arte where Hati flies up and releases two streams of damaging wind energy cross paths on the location, forming an X shape. The energy then erupts immediately afterward, damaging any targets in the area and launching them into the air. This move can be used for Hati or others to quickly follow up with combos the second that the enemy is launched in the air. Oftentimes, Hati likes to open up with this to see how the enemy reacts to it.

Beast Blow is an arte that Hati learned from watching Repede alongside his father. An interesting thing to know is that this attack automatically triggers Hati into going into his therian form (if he's not in his unleashed form). From the first initial transformation, enemies around him will be damaged by the released shock waves. With it, Hati dashes forward while releasing frenzied slashes at the enemy before finally ending his assault with a rising strike that releases a short-ranged shock wave. Upon landing on the ground, he has the option to switch to his human form (if he's in his therian form).

Elemental Master is an arte where Hati summons six spheres of energy that represent the six elements (fire, water, wind, earth, dark and light) around him. Digging his heels into the ground, he combines the spheres into one big one and fires an elemental beam that deals a large amount of damage to those in the range of the arte. It should be noted that there is a random chance of a status effect occurring depending on which element makes up the majority of the beam. If fire happens to take a decent chunk, the enemy becomes burned. If the dark happens to take a decent chunk, the enemy will be temporarily blinded.

Frigid Blast

Frigid Blast is an arte where Hati concentrates ice energy into their palm. He swings his hand into the side of the enemy. He then releases it in an icy explosion. This arte took a bit for Hati to master due to how often he keeps accidentally freezing his hand in the process. However, once he mastered it, it became one of his most used moves since it allows him to keep the enemy away from him if he needs space to breathe. He occasionally likes to combine artes alongside this one due to the enemy being momentarily stunned by the attack in question.

Upon learning Cure, Hati finds himself using Cure in dire situations that calls for him to heal important party members. With this spell, Hati summons a glyph underneath one of his party members. With it, Hati is able to restore a large amount of HP to them. This often leads to Hati healing any critically injured ally back to full health. This spell always appears as the most powerful single target healing spell, but its effectiveness is countered often with a large casting time and high TP cost. However, it is something that Hati doesn't honestly mind too much.

Flame Dragon

Flame Dragon is a arte where a sphere of fire forms. From within the sphere follows a fiery dragon being summoned from the flame and continuously striking the enemies backward and forwards in an almost serpent manner before sending them flying in the air. This arte does take a lot out of Hati to use, but is one of his most preferred fire artes. This arte does have impressive range due to the sheer size of it and is a nice way to clear through the battlefield. However, it should be noted that this arte does take a lot out of him to use due to the MP needed for it.

Stalagmite

Stalagmite is a spell that Hati occasionally messes up with casting with the amount of MP and concentration that is needed for it. The spell consists of Hati summoning a giant pillar of stone, surrounded by smaller, angled stone pillars, from below to damage enemies. Smaller enemies are tossed in the air from the sheer force of the attack. The range of the attack does increase, the more that Hati uses it. In addition to that, the number of stone pillars increases with each use.

Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave is a spell that Hati has mastered relatively quickly due to constant use of it against his father to keep him under control. With it, a swirling vortex of water that covers most, if not all, of the battlefield, rapidly damaging enemies wherever they stand within the vortex. Occasionally, this is replaced with two torrents of water that surround and trap an enemy, followed by a bigger, stronger one that aims at its target.

Thunder Blade

Thunder Blade is one of the last non-mystic arte that Hati ends up learning. With it, the spell takes one of two forms. In one form, Hati summons a large sword of lightning in the sky, which pierces into the ground to create an electric shock that affects a circular area around the impact point. In another form, the summons a long lightning sword from the bottom of the field from the bottom of the field behind the caster's position, which swings back to the right to toss enemies into the air.

Menacing Howls is a rare arte for Hati to use as he personally doesn't see the need to use it. With it, Hati changes into his therian (or unbound) form and roars as he gathers mana in his mouth, shaping it into a sphere. Digging his heels into the ground, he swallows the sphere and charges at the enemy, repeatedly slashing at them before ending the attack by opening his mouth and firing a beam of energy directly at their face, knocking them back. Much like other burst artes, this arte potency increases with Over Limit level, with the base form activating at Level 1, the second at Level 2, and the third at Levels 3 and 4. The second level adds Hati dragging the enemy up in the air with the beam while the third level adds Hati slamming them down with a downward slash.

Menacing Howls: Inferno is a rare arte for Hati to use as he personally doesn't see the need to use it. With it, Hati changes into his therian (or unbound) form and roars as he gathers mana in his mouth, shaping it into a sphere. Digging his heels into the ground, he swallows the sphere and charges at the enemy, repeatedly slashing at them before ending the attack by opening his mouth and firing a beam of energy directly at their face, knocking them back. Much like other burst artes, this arte potency increases with Over Limit level, with the base form activating at Level 1, the second at Level 2, and the third at Levels 3 and 4. This arte changes to fire element with the second level allowing Hati to summon a column of fire underneath the enemy and the third to impale the enemy with fire lances.

Menacing Howls: Terra

Menacing Howls: Terra is a rare arte for Hati to use as he personally doesn't see the need to use it. With it, Hati changes into his therian (or unbound) form and roars as he he gathers mana in his mouth, shaping it into a sphere. Digging his heels into the ground, he swallows the sphere and charges at the enemy, repeatedly slashing at them before ending the attack by opening his mouth and firing a beam of energy directly at their face, knocking them back. Much like other burst artes, this arte potency increases with Over Limit level, with the base form activating at Level 1, the second at Level 2, and the third at Levels 3 and 4. This arte changes to the earth element with the second level causes stones to rise in the center of the effect, while the third drops a giant boulder.

Menacing Howls: Hurricane is a rare arte for Hati to use as he personally doesn't see the need to use it. With it, Hati changes into his therian (or unbound) form and roars as he gathers mana in his mouth, shaping it into a sphere. Digging his heels into the ground, he swallows the sphere and charges at the enemy, repeatedly slashing at them before ending the attack by opening his mouth and firing a beam of energy directly at their face, knocking them back. Much like other burst artes, this arte potency increases with Over Limit level, with the base form activating at Level 1, the second at Level 2, and the third at Levels 3 and 4. The arte changes to the water element while creating winds that cause all trapped within to rise upward. The arte ends with gales of wind slashing through in higher levels.

Menacing Howls: Aqua

Menacing Howls is a rare arte for Hati to use as he personally doesn't see the need to use it. With it, Hati changes into his therian (or unbound) form and roars as he gathers mana in his mouth, shaping it into a sphere. Digging his heels into the ground, he swallows the sphere and charges at the enemy, repeatedly slashing at them before ending the attack by opening his mouth and firing a beam of energy directly at their face, knocking them back. Much like other burst artes, this arte potency increases with Over Limit level, with the base form activating at Level 1, the second at Level 2, and the third at Levels 3 and 4. The arte changes to the wind element with tThe second level then creates a twisting combination of several water columns in the center, which the final level completes with a giant bubble falling down.

Mystic Artes

Light's Annihilation

This is the first mystic arte Hati is seen using. Hati changes into his therian (or his unbound) form and flips backwards. Digging his feet against the ground, he opens his mouth (in his unbound form..in his therian form, he raises his hand up) as a ball of energy forms within it. As his energy grows, the area gets darker and darker as if the ball is sucking in all the light. Colors started to gradually cover the ball as it grew bigger and became the main source of light. THe ball floats above Hati as Hati eyes glow white and rings of light twist around the energy ball. With a grin, Hati slams the ball of energy down on the enemy, flying backwards when the attack collides down on them and explodes.

Lunaris Judgement

  • Beast, Beast Blow and Holy Lance must be used 100+ times each
  • Over Limit mode must be active at Level 4 and attack is used after Beast Blow or Ghost Wolf is used

This is the mystic arte that Hati masters the second he learns Holy Lance. If Hati isn't already in his Unbound form, he enters it and closes his eyes. The moon shines brightly down on him as a field of light energy forms around him. As he chants, multiple clawed energy hands shoot out of the ground and proceed to lash out at enemies. As they claw and toss around the enemy, he snaps open his eyes and flies upwards as the energy limbs wrapped themselves around the enemy. After holding onto the enemy for a few seconds, Hati finishes his chant and claps his paws together. The enemy is sent flying up from the clawed limbs exploding before being impaled into the ground by a sword imbued with holy power appearing above them. A large blast of light engulfs the enemy after the sword denotes.

Howling Deception

  • both Hati and Fenrir must have Over Limit mode active at Level 4
  • must have obtained the "Fame Wolf" title for Fenrir and "He Who Hates" for Hati

Fenrir and Hati activates their therian form with Fenrir going into his Unleashed form while Hati going into his fused form with Remi. Fenrir rapidly starts to slash at the enemy from various directions as a magic glyph forms in front of Hati's face as he quietly chants. At the last slash, Fenrir blast the enemy in the air with a burst of energy in the form of a wolf's head. In the air, Hati soars up as the glyph fully forms and Hati releases an elemental blast of energy that sends the enemy crashing down on the ground. However, the move isn't over yet. More glyphs form around the enemy leading towards Hati. Fenrir ascends up them as they form into floating orbs that serve as platforms and become infused with Fenrir smearing blood into them. At the very top, Fenrir shoots up and inhales. WIth a loud howl, the orbs formed into one blast of energy that crashes down on the enemy as well, swirling into Hati's attack. The combined move gives out a howl akin to a wolf.

This is one of the titles that Hati starts off with when he first joins the party. As mentioned from the above, this outfit does not change his appearance at all.

The Fractured Avenger

This title is unlocked automatically after the group kills the ex-king and his partner within Atraena and Hati reflects on the fact that he lost his biological parents because of them.

  • Enter cooking competition with that character in Dahngrest's cooking stadium

This title is something that Hati earns from winning the cooking competition in Dahngrest after mastering all the recipes. It took quite a bit for the group to get him to participate in it since he was nervous about it.

The Spirit

This is one of the titles that Hati starts off with when he first joins the party. As mentioned from the above, this outfit does not change his appearance at all.

This is one of the titles that Hati gets from reaching level 20. It did take a bit for Hati to reach this specific level.

This is one of the titles that Hati gets from reaching level 60. It took him halfway through the story for him to actually reach the level due to the monsters the group faced.

This is one of the titles that Hati gets from reaching level 100. It took a while for him to reach this level. In fact, it won't be till before the last boss battle where he actually reaches this level.

This is one of the titles that Hati earned by simply transforming into his unbounded form over 200 times. It's one of the titles he earns quickly due to going into this form often during battle.

This is one of the titles that Hati earns by performing 100+ Fatal Strikes. It didn't take long for him to get 100+ Fatal Strikes due to him using constantly whenever he can.

Little Piggy

  • After the group arrives in Nam Cobanda Isle's, speak with man near stage in The gymnasium and participate in a play

This title is unlocked automatically after Fenrir participates in a play within the Lionheart Assembly Hall that centers around the Three Little Pigs. In this, Hati is dressed as a humanoid/Gijinka version of one of the three pigs.

The One He Follows

  • Talk to Cael before leaving Grimhelm to fight act 1 boss
  • Talk to Cael after Fenrir leaves the party

This title involves the group involving themselves in a mini side quest that centers around Cael watching Hati go throughout his journey and pulling himself away from his father to establish his identity. This is an outfit based on the original design of Hati.

This is a title that you will rarely see Hati wear as he personally doesn't find the need to wear a swimsuit during battles. That just seems dangerous!

This title is one that Hati isn't sure why he was given to wear as a costume since he was quite set on avoiding the hot springs as much as possible due to preferring the forest where the springs are located.

This title is one that Hati unlocks by fighting 255+ battles on "Hard" or "Unknown" difficulty. Of course, Hati isn't aware of those difficulties existing since...well they don't exactly exist.

Groovy Rebel

God knows how the group managed to convince Hati to participate in the dance competition and he managed to somehow win it....whatever the case is, this outfit allows Hati to dress in a dance themed outfit.
