Personality

The concept of looks can be deceiving is something that holds true when it comes to Fen. Intiailly coming off as bloodthirsty and aggressive, this attitude is something that stems from one thing: their desire to protect Dante and those a part of Dante's pack. In reality, Fen is a gentle soul that shows their compassion through gentle nuzzles or bestowing various gifts of questionable nature. Behind those purple eyes is a canine that is brave and confident when it comes to their skills. They are proud of being a wolf and don't hesitate to lash out if they feel the situation calls for it. They can come across as impulsive in battle, but have displayed moments where they are willing to cooperate when bonked into focus. Outside of battle, Fen has a very nonchalant perspective of things and isn't bothered by most things. Despite this, they can be angered by people who disrespect their pack and will often go as far as killing those who do anything to seriously harm them. One thing that shouldn't be ignored is that Fen is someone who craves attention and the desire to be free from the shackles they were shoved in by Dante. They want him to acknowledge that they exist and not someone that means him any harm. It's something that takes quite a long time for the two of them to be on the same page about.

Anthro Form

Fen is typically seen in their anthro form and takes the appearance of a larger and bulkier bipedal wolf that resembles Dante's Unleashed form. With a lighter gray underbelly, the wolf possesses a white, messy mane that starts on the back of its head and curls down the middle of its back. The mane has what appears to be a golden streak along the edges with similar ones found on the tips of its tail and parts of its fur. Similar turfs of fur can be found on the back of its arms and its hips. Their ears are shown to be pointed and the purple markings that resemble tiger-like stripes are seen on its body and match the colors of the rim of its ear. Three triangular markings are found on both of their cheeks. Its claws are golden with the top half of the face being a dark gray with a light gray marking framing the top half of its eye rim. Much like Dante, it still maintains parts of Dante's Bestia form such as functioning paw-hands and a large fluffy tail with the tip of it being white. The black pupils of its eyes are slitted while the iris is primarily purple. Its sclera are shown to be black.

Humanoid Form

In this humanoid form, Fen has long, white hair with golden streaks running throughout parts of their hair. Their hair is often pinned into a neat ponytail. The black pupils of his eyes are slitted while the iris is primarily purple. Their sclera are shown to be black. Fixed on their head are black wolf ears while golden claws are seen on their hands. They have an athletic build and share a similar height as Dante. Covering a large portion of his arms and legs are purple stripe-like markings that bear the resemblance to tiger stripes. Three triangular markings are found on both of their cheeks. In terms of his attire, the wolf wears a purple leotard with gray chaps rucked into their dark gray boots with the back of it colored purple with a gray lining in between the gray and purple (as well as a golden and white fur trim). Wrapped around their neck is a yellow and white furry scarf that covers their black vest. Completely the outfit is a black, ripped mini skirt draped over their chaps with a purple and gray trim to it.

Story

The Lurking Wolf

For Bestias, they are born under a specific branch alignment. In those alignment exist the Corporis branch based on Twilight Panthera. With this, Bestias are granted a form known as the “Unleashed” form akin to the one that the Spirit has. The Unleashed form is far more animalistic (and even monstrous) in appearance. In this form, Bestia's anima are the ones that tend to take control of their bodies as the Bestia finds themselves running on primal instinct while in this form. However, you would rarely see that anima has sentience compared to familiars found in the Animus branch.

This leads us to Dante Blackwell. The young man belonged to the Corporis branch. However, the young man was quite the strange one. Dante Blackwell did not unlock his “Unleashed'' form at the time he should have. When it comes to those of the Corporis branch, you will see that form appeared when Bestias are around their teens (or whatever is the equivalent of that for their race). It makes sense, given the nature of teenage hormones and what not. However, that wasn't the case for Dante. While he went through his rebellious teenage years, he never did figure out how to slip into his unleashed form despite how much he tried. It was something his mother was confused by since she was of the Corporis branch as well. However, she assumed that it was a non-issue as it wasn't as if Dante needed to use his unleashed form. As the prince, he had plenty of people to keep him safe and could fight perfectly well without it in a situation where he didn't have his guards. Not only that but the form itself was a dangerous thing and something that would take decades to master.

She wasn't expecting for Dante to unlock his unleashed form the day her husband announced his marriage to the prince of the other kingdom.

Unknown to her, Dante's wolf anima was...different compared to those of Corporis branch. Much like the familiars in the Animus branch, it was alive and capable of thoughts. For a time, it was dormant until it reacted to Dante's rage of what his father done.Out of instinct, the anima lashed out after forcibly taking control of Dante. It was due to them, they made the situation worse without realizing why as Dante would soon chained him away upon learning of its existence. However, this doesn't stop Fen from watching Dante from his mind. They still care deeply for their host and awaits for the day that Dante will let it into his heart and trust him.

Fighting style

When it comes to fighting, Fen has a similar fighting style as Fenrir. With their raw strength, they fight entirely with their fists. This provides them with more control and freedom to their own movements during battle and solidifies their position as being one of the Fighter class. This does mean that they have to get up close and personal when it comes to fighting. They don't mind as he is shown to be quite tanky in terms of their defenses, effectively making them the shield of the group. However, what separates Fen is that they're akin to that of Berserker in DnD. After all, they are meant to be the Unleashed form of Dante. As such, they are able to empty their rational restraints in battle and completely immerse oneself in combat becoming a dangerous warrior for both friend and foe. With this, they are to ignore fatal physical damage as if it never affected them and continue fighting with a frightening level of stamina while also being unpredictable and erratic in combat, making it hard to counter them.

Strengths

  • Strongest physical attackers in the party
  • Has pretty damn decent defense with physical defense being high
  • Works surprisingly well with party
  • Has the great perks of a wolf

Weaknesses

  • Can lose themselves in their berserker form
  • Isn't much of a strategist
  • Occasionally argues with Dante over control of body
  • Doesn't use magic that often
Wolf Bestia Physiology
Racial Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

All Bestia carry different abilities based on the creatures that they are based on. For all, their abilities are enhanced under a full moon to a certain degree and they carry the same ability mentioned about that allows them to go into their therian form. Looking at wolf bestias, they possess superhuman strength with some being able to toss aside a tree and being able to leap across a decent amount of ways in the air due to that strength extending towards their legs. Wolf bestias can move faster than a good chunk of non-supernatural creatures and have a high amount of stamina. Their agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete with their bodies being physically tougher and more resistant to injury than the body of a normal human with some carrying a healing factor. Much like their canine counterparts, they do come with enhanced senses with most of them being centered around sight, smell and hearing.

Blood Empowerment
Inherited Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

With how much blood that Fen tends to spill and how much they tend to bleed with his battle style, it's no surprise that they picked up on this specific skill especially when they carry over most of Dante's abilities. With it, Fen is able to grow stronger when they comes into contact with or gets near blood. All they needs to do to trigger that power is having the enemy make him bleed (or the enemy bleeding) in some way during battle. The use of the skill lead them to being able to use several blood-based artes that take advantage of it. Obviously, they have to be careful of not using too much blood to the point that they faint.

Archetype: Lightning Bruiser
Racial Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

Fen can be best described as being akin to a lightning bruiser. What this means is that they're a type of fighter that combines both sturdiness and strength, with maneuverability. They possess toughness, might, velocity, and agility that is above enhanced and peak human levels. They are strong enough to overturn and lift the heaviest of vehicles, can move at speeds that can often be supernatural and are resistant to certain attacks that would destroy the human body. Now keep in mind Fen is susceptible to exhaustion and being resistant towards certain attack doesn't mean they're immune. This can be proven to be quite dangerous when combined with their ability to slip into primal instinctive state of mind.

Fen and Dante have quite the tumultuous relationship. There was a time that Dante viewed Fen as being akin to that of a animal that doesn't understand that there are things that you simply don't do, and Fen viewed him as being a annoying mutt that kept getting in the way of his chance to protect from whatever nonsense they are dealing with. However, over time, they grew to respect each other and accept the other as a brother/sibling. They came to a understanding there is a reason why the other reacted the way they do and learned to respect that.

Hati is Fen's son in their heart, and nothing will convince it otherwise. It will do whatever it can to protect him from whatever harm comes his way and will make the young man happy in whatever way he can. Every since he accidentally hurt Hati, Fen has been overly apologetic to the boy and very cautious about how it reacts around him. Even if the young man forgived him for what they did, they still feel bad about lashing out the way they did. He is usually the one they often check on after every battle and often likes to lick his head to show his affection.

Fen loves Yuri as much as his "brother" (Dante) loves him. Fen enjoys battling him whenever they can and often gets overexcited over the idea of facing off against him. Honestly, it's more inclined to listen to Yuri than Flynn. Not because he trust him more or anything. It's mostly due to the fact he acts more wolf-like compared to Flynn and Fen is attracted to that since they absolutely loves things that reminds them of canines. There's also the fact that Yuri allows him to get away with more things than Flynn. Sometimes, a good boy wants to cause trouble as a treat to themselves.

Fen loves Flynn even if he can be a bit uptight and puffy at times. When it isn't busy training with Yuri, its usually clambering for attention from Flynn and sometimes forces the man not to be a workaholic at the request of Dante. That tends to involve Fen reaching over to gently grasp Flynn and pull him into a hug despite his protests as he knows Flynn appreciate it. It is more likely to be very affectionate to him than Yuri as Yuri isn't typically the type that cares about PDA. As such, Fen wants to do whatever they can to try to respect that.
