Base Artes
Beast Mode
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
Beast Mode is a transformation arte that is primarily used by Bestia. Taking bits of his MP and drawing out the inner beast within him, Fenrir is able to transform into a werewolf-esque creature that comes equipped with abilities that wolves tend to have, which includes but is not limited to a higher level of power, speed, and endurance. While in this form, Fenrir can be slightly aggressive and fiesty. Most of the time, Fenrir only goes into this form if he feels an enemy is strong enough to be able to handle the strength of it. This arte is also used for Fenrir to get access to his Unleashed form (which requires Overlimit level 4).
Demon Fist
Enabled Effects:
- Downed Hit
- Stand Up
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
Often known as "Demon Fist" by sword users, Demon Fist is a basic technique that serves as one of the first artes that most main protagonist characters throughout the Tales series have the capability to use starting off. With a swing of his fist, Fenrir launches a blue ground projectile towards a target. This arte helps keep enemies away from him temporarily and damage them from a distance while awaiting support from an ally. However, this arte can travel only along the ground unless Fenrir pumps more mana into the attack.
Ghost Wolf
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
Ghost Wolf is an arte that Fenrir uses by slashing the enemy from the front, then phases behind them nearly instantly, striking them once again with another slash. This can be used easily to avoid an enemy's attack, but it is hard to link combos with it until Fenrir uses it many times to get the gist of it. This is an arte that Fenrir mastered from watching Yuri use the arte as it is one of the few attacks he couldn't figure out the mechanics of. He often uses it to strike an enemy from behind or escape the range of a move. Commonly, you will see him use it in his therian form due to how deadly he can be with it.
Havoc Strike
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
Havoc Strike is an arte where Fenrir jumps and spins in the air. In a quick motion, he slams onto the ground at an angle, striking the enemy with the full force of his weight. This arte is one of the most effective attacks for Fenrir as it can link to other artes quickly without forcing a landing recovery delay or enemy knockdown effect. It is shown that he tends to often use this attack more whenever he's in his therian form due to how much weight that form itself has due to its larger size and power. This arte can be quite destructive when he's in his unleashed form.
Raging Blast
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Learned from Yuri Lowell after their first battle together
Raging Blast is a arte where Fenrir reaches forward at the target. Gathering mana, the male uses it to form a explosive energy in his palm, causing any nearby enemies to be blasted away and knocked to the ground. Although this attack does not have a wide blast radius, it is useful to clear away small groups of enemies. Often, Fenrir likes to use it as a bit of a surprise attack for the enemy and is quick to follow it up with various combos whenever he knocks down an enemy with it. Interestingly enough, he tends to mostly use this outside his beast forms more often than not.
Tiger Fang
Enabled Effects:
- Downed Hit
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
Often known as "Tiger Blade" by swords users, Tiger Fang is one of the most well-recognized artes due to its usually balanced with high damage for a low MP cost during battle. When used, Fenrir forms energy claws (or uses his actual claws in his beast forms) and slashes upward while jumping, then slashes downward while landing. This arte is effective for hitting any opponents in the air, further allowing Fenrir to force his target to the ground. Occasionally, there is a third hit that can be added between or after the slashes, sometimes involving a shoulder charge or punches that simulate the standard movement patterns of this arte.
Focus
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
In all of its appearances, Focus is an arte used by Fenrir in order to buff his strength and speed. There are cases where the arte buffs accuracy and physical defense instead, but that usually requires a higher level of concentration. As the arte requires some seconds of usage, it is safest to activate it at a distance from the enemy, as the latter may attack Fenrir and briefly stagger him. An interesting thing to note is that this arte can be useful to Fenrir when he finds him lost in the aggression of his therian form as this move can force him to calm down and stop himself from lashing out at his teammates.
Cerberus Strike
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Default
The basis of Cerberus Strike is that it's a arte involves the character attacking an enemy three times in succession. The arte originally began as a kicking maneuver For Fenrir before switching into something more unpredictable when he saw Yuri Lowell use his fists rather than his feet for the attack. One minute, he may use his fists for the arte. One minute, he may use his feet. Hell, he might end up using a mixture of the two. That really brings the whole unpredictable factor when it comes to Fenrir's use of the arte. He may end up being cheeky by adding a few more additional hits to the move.
Raining Fangs
Enabled Effects:
- Aerial
Elemental Attributes :
- Water
Requirements:
- Learned from his sibling after encounter in Azeth Kingdom
With Raining Fangs, Fenrir leaps into the air and slashes toward the ground at an angle with his nails (or occasionally his claws depending on which form he happens to be in at the time). The force of the attack launches several shock waves that take the appearance of rain streaks until they strike the ground. Sometimes, these streaks of rain are replaced with a small orb of water that is launched at the same angle. Upon contact with the ground, the orb creates a large splash of water that forces the enemy into the air. Interesting enough, it's the only water based arte that he seems to know.
Bloody Occult
Enabled Effects:
- Knockback
- Guard Break
Elemental Attributes :
- Dark
Requirements:
- Obtained during the arrival to Ferox continent event
Bloody Occult is an arte that is exclusively taught by the Blackwell family. This arte is considered one of the most sacred and involves Fenrir channeling MP into his claws to increase the range and strength into the talons. Fenrir then lunges forward, repeatedly slashing at the enemy before eventually grabbing them and tossing them to the side. It should be noted that the arte becomes stronger, the more blood that Fenrir gets on them. It doesn't matter if it's his or not. The sharpness of these claws does increase based on whatever form he happens to be in at the time.
Arcane Artes
Beast
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- N/A
Beast is classic melee artes that is typically used by swordsman arte and as an unarmed fighter. When this arte is activated, Fenrir slams the target with extreme force, creating a blast of energy in the image of a wolf's head. This forces all nearby enemies to be blasted away and knocked to the ground. This is an effective arte to clear mobs when surrounded by many enemies because of its power and force. This is the first Arcane arte that Fennrir learned due to it being one that can cause enemies to be knocked down and something he learned from his father.
Recumbent Wolf
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- N/A
This specific arte is one that Fenrir learns from a sparing section between himself and Hati. It seems like an excuse for Fenrir to be a bit more extra than usual, which doesn't really bother him in the slightest. Fenrir initiates the arte by flipping himself upward, kicking the enemy into the air as a trail of light follows in a crescent shape. He then swiftly punches the enemy into the ground, sending shock waves forward to deal more damage. Oftentimes, he likes to use this move in sync with Bloody Occult, replacing the last punch into the arte itself.
Raging Havoc
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Havoc Strike used 50+ times
- Raging Blast used 50+ times
With this arte, Havoc Strike and Raging Blast are combined. When used, Fenrir jumps and spins in the air, then slams onto the ground at an angle, striking the enemy with the full force of their weight. He then follows up the attack by reaching forward at the target and gathers explosive energy in his palm. The force of move causes any nearby enemies to be blasted away and knocked to the ground. He often uses this move so than the individual moves this arte is made of due to finding it easier to make combos out of the moves in question. Speaking of which, this is the first Arcane arte he knows that's a fusion of two other artes and something he taught himself from fighting his best friend.
Devil's Maw
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- Dark
- Fire
Requirements:
- N/A
Devil Maw is an interesting arte because it can be either a dark elemental or fire elemental move depending on how Fenrir feels. Each variation comes with slightly different effects depending on which of the two is used. When using the fire variation, Fenrir slams the heel of his foot onto the ground to create a small fissure, which releases an upward burst of flame that damages all enemies caught in its small area of effect. For the dark variation, a swirling blast of dark energy spirals upward to trap the target after Fenrir slams his heels onto the ground.
Demon's Rage
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- N/A
Using his claws (or whatever sharp object he can find), Fenrir performs a running slash followed by a quick thrust, ending with a downward kick that is chained into a burst of light that lifts enemies into the air. This arte is useful for continuing combos, as it floats the enemy and gives Fenrir a brief chance to attack again without creating a gap in the combo. Oftentimes, he likes to use it alongside Devil's Maw and Bloody Occult. Fenrir couldn't really tell you where exactly he learned the arte from since he's not even sure himself. If you ask, he will probably shrug and say he learned it from some blond.
Bloody Fangs
Enabled Effects:
- Guard Break
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Bloody Occult used 100+ times
Bloody Fangs is an arte that requires Fenrir to be harmed to the point he's bleeding for him to use. It is one of the rare artes for him to use due to the amount of MP it requires to use it. Honestly, it's probably one of his more magic based artes. With it, he splatters blood on the ground, summoning a wolf composed of blood next to him. This wolf proceeds to wildly claw, bite and attack the enemy. How long the wolf stays depends on how much MP that Fenrir gives the canine. This can lead to Fenrir using up a good portion of his MP if he's not being too mindful. An interesting thing to note is the fact he can change the form of the wolf, by giving it a bit more of his blood.
Light Spear
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- Light
Requirements:
- Learned from Cael during the encounter at the base
Summoning a beam of light that takes the form of a blade into his hands, Fenrir thrusts at the enemy several times, raising his weapon to a higher angle with every strike to push the enemy upward. At the end of the combo, he performs a horizontal spin that leaves a spiraling trail of light from his weapon while he jumps into the air. He follows through with a strong downward thrust into the ground at an angle, causing the battlefield to shake upon contact with the ground. An interesting thing to note is that this arte is one of the ones that Fenrir uses often when he's in his therian form.
Devil's Rage
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- Dark
Requirements:
- N/A
Devil's Rage is an interesting arte as it centers around Fenrir summoning multiple mana filled blades around him. These blades remain floating in the air until they are tossed. With these blades, Fenrir is able to impale them into the area or the area surrounding them. These floating swords do not stop an enemy from any action they may be performing with how light they are. Now what makes these swords special is the fact that putting new swords on the field will cause the earliest spawned sword to explode. Then again, the swords can be manually detonated at any time or after a certain amount of time has passed.
Cerberus Maw
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- Fire
- Dark
Requirements:
- Cerberus Strike used 50+ times
- Devil's Maw used 50+ times
Much like a Cerberus Strike, Fenrir attacks an enemy three times in succession. The arte originally began as a kicking maneuver for Fenrir before switching into something more unpredictable when he saw Yuri Lowell use his fists rather than his feet for the attack. The move's ending varies depending on the element of the move. In the fire variation, Fenrir slams the heel of his foot onto the ground to create a small fissure, which releases an upward burst of flame that damages all enemies caught in its small area of effect. For the dark variation, a swirling blast of dark energy spirals upward to trap the target after Fenrir slams his heels onto the ground.
Meteor Bash
Enabled Effects:
- Downed Hit
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- N/A
This arte is entirely based on the Pokemon move Meteor Mash. With this arte, Fenrir's hand glows white (or occasionally a silhouette of a golden meteor appears around its hand), and charges at the enemy. He then proceeds to repeatedly punch the opponent. When the attack makes contact, multicolored or golden meteor-shaped or star particles come out of the white light on Fenrir's hand. This arte has a chance to boost Fenrir's strength and is something that he commonly uses whenever he's in his Unleashed form due to his overall strength in it.
Hell Pyre
Enabled Effects:
- Aerial
- Knockdown
- Downed Hit
Elemental Attributes :
- Fire
Requirements:
- Learned from Flynn Scifo
In honesty, Fenrir never really planned to learn this arte from Flynn until he made a bet with him that he can learn this specific arte within a day. When Hell Pyre is executed, Fenrir slashes upward at the enemy while jumping high into the air. This is soon followed after by Fenrir tossing a flaming projectile sword or fireball down to the enemy while airborne. He commonly uses the move outside of his therian form due to not seeing the use of the arte in those forms. That and he honestly has a harder time using this specific arte in those forms in question.
Raining Hell
Enabled Effects:
- Aerial
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- Raining Fang used 50+ times
- Bloody Fangs used 50+ times
Raining Hell is a arte that involves Fenrir getting harmed in some way to the point he's bleeding. Once that happened, he just need some MP and blood to use the arte. By drenching his nails (or claws) in his own blood, Fenrir can charge the blood with MP and fling it, sending a barrage of crescent-shaped blades. While he typically used blood from an already open wound, Fenrir could draw the necessary blood to use the attack by digging his nails into his palms. He would often use this tactic as a surprise counterattack after being wounded, when his opponents would assume he was weakened by his wounds and lower their guard.
Altered Artes
Beast Blow
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- "Chain"
- Light Spear
Beast Blow is a arte that Fenrir learned from watching Repede. An interesting thing to know is that this attack automatically triggers Fenrir into going into his therian form. From the first initial transformation, enemies around him will be damaged by the released shock waves. With it, Fenrir dashes forward while releasing frenzied slashes at the enemy before finally ending his assault with a rising strike that releases a short-ranged shock wave. Upon landing on the ground, he has the option to switch to his human form if he so desires. Normally, he doesn't.
Shattering Demon Fist
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- Earth
Requirements:
- "Athenor"
- Demon Fist
Shattering Demon Fist is a move that Fenrir picked up on using when he first went into his Unleashed form. When Shattering Demon Fist is activated, Fenrir smashes his fist to the ground, creating a large shock wave that damages enemies around him and causes the knockdown effect. Fenrir can also use this move against aerial enemies by leaping up at them and smashing his fist down onto their main body, knocking them down to the ground. It should be noted that this seems to be the signature move for Fenrir whenever he's in his Unleashed form.
Fiend Fusion
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- "Bastion"
- "Dispersion"
- Focus
Fiend Fusion is something that Fenrir accidentally learned from a random boss battle the group encountered. This arte requires the man to be his beast form as the man must leap at the enemy and take a bite at them/ingest their blood in some way. Upon consuming their flesh/blood, Fenrir is able to use the energy from it to boost his stats for a certain amount of time. Each monster provides their own boost for Fenrir to make use of. With the sheer variety, Fenrir often has to write it down to keep track of what monster gives whatever specific boost for him to use.
Burning Havoc
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- Fire
Requirements:
- "Hell Fire"
- Havoc Strike
Burning Havoc is an arte where Fenrir jumps and spins in the air. In a quick motion, he slams onto the ground at an angle, striking the enemy with the full force of his weight. An eruption of fire explodes when he makes contact. This arte is one of the most effective attacks for Fenrir as it can link to other artes quickly without forcing a landing recovery delay or enemy knockdown effect. It is shown that he tends to often use this attack more whenever he's in his beat form due to the amount of weight that form itself has due to its slightly larger size and power.
Tiger Rage
Enabled Effects:
- Aerial
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- "Chain"
- "Gale"
- Tiger Fang
Tiger Rage is an arte that Fenrir isn't sure how he managed to learn due to the fact he used it accidentally in place of Tiger Fang. When Tiger Rage is used, Fenrir brings out his claws and slashes upward to launch himself into the air with the enemy, twisting in the air to slash the target at least twice more. The arte ends with a final downward slash as Fenrir is landing. This attack essentially follows the actions of Tiger Blade with extra slashes while the user is airborne. This is an arte that Fenrir rarely uses as it is quite the acrobatic one. He complains about it causing him back pain.
Punishing Beast
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- "Dispersion"
- Beast
- Forest Ledoyen cameo costume title must be equipped until mastered
Punishing Beast is a powerful variant of Beast that Fenrir finds himself using more often than not then Beast. With it, the effect of this arte is very similar to Beast, in which Fenrir spins around to build enough energy to knock enemies away, creating the image of a wolf's head. Another way for him to use the arte is by him leaping in the air and slamming down on the ground as a energy burst (in the shape of the wolf) explodes underneath the group. This variant of Beast is much more deadly, dealing nearly twice the total damage that the basic arte is capable of inflicting.
Stained Occult
Enabled Effects:
- Knockdown
- Guard Break
Elemental Attributes :
- Dark
Requirements:
- "Crucible"
- Bloody Occult
Stained Occult is an arte that is exclusively taught by those of the Blackwell Family that Fenrir learned through his brother. Fenrir can harden his own blood and, like a bladed projectile, throw it at his enemies. The mana infused into it binds the blood into a solid form and partially crystallizes it. He executes this technique by covering the edge of his nails with blood, and then swinging it to release arcs of blood. The blood, infused with concentrated quantities of mana, has very high cutting power and acts for all purposes as a very sharp and very fast moving blade. It can be used as a surprise attack that catches enemies off guard when they think he's weakened from battle.
Bloody Pack
Enabled Effects:
- N/A
Elemental Attributes :
- N/A
Requirements:
- "Great Deluge"
- Bloody Fangs

Honestly, it's one of his two only magic based artes. With it, he splatters blood on the ground, summoning several wolves composed of blood next to him. These wolves proceed to wildly claw, bite and attack the enemy. How long the wolf stays depends on how much MP that Fenrir gives the canine. This can lead to Fenrir using up a good portion of his MP if he's not being too mindful(especially with the number of them on the field). An interesting thing to note is the fact he can change the form of the wolf, by giving it a bit more of his blood.

Cry of Wolf is one of the rarest artes that Fenrir uses since he personally doesn't see the need to use it. With it, he gives out a roar as he changes into his therian form (if he's not already in it) before diving from the air, striking the enemy with his foot. With the enemy in the air, he performs a series of slashes and bites. Much like other burst artes, this arte potency increases with Over Limit level, with the base form activating at Level 1, the second at Level 2, and the third at Levels 3 and 4. The second level allows adds a final slash that slices through the enemy, and the third version adds another that strikes the unguarded back.

With each strike, he slips closer and closer to his therian form before fully transforming when he eventually shoots up and slamming his fist into the ground, sending the enemy in the air by a pillar of earth that erupts underneath them. He rapidly climbs up the pillar as energy is seen pooling into his paws. At the peak of the pillar, Fenrir thrust his hands into the enemy's bottom as they descended, allowing a burst of energy to erupt underneath them.

He proceeds to rapidly slash the enemy, slipping more into his therian form at a rapid pace. When he fully takes the form, he uses a double palm strike to launch his opponent away. However, it's not over. He gets on all fours and roars, transforming into his Unleashed form. In a blink of an eye, he reappears behind the enemy. The Bestia proceeds to slash at the enemy from all directions, becoming faster and more vicious with each hit before finally ending it with one final slash that sends the enemy in the air before they are slammed down by the brute force of Fenrir's paw ramming down on them.

Fenrir rapidly starts to slash at the enemy from various directions as a magic glyph forms in front of Hati's face as he quietly chants. At the last slash, Fenrir blast the enemy in the air with a burst of energy in the form of a wolf's head. In the air, Hati soars up as the glyph fully forms and Hati releases an elemental blast of energy that sends the enemy crashing down on the ground. However, the move isn't over yet. More glyphs form around the enemy leading towards Hati. Fenrir ascends up them as they form into floating orbs that serve as platforms and become infused with Fenrir smearing blood into them. At the very top, Fenrir shoots up and inhales. WIth a loud howl, the orbs formed into one blast of energy that crashes down on the enemy as well, swirling into Hati's attack. The combined move gives out a howl akin to a wolf.
