Home in Cabo Poco was an old vacation home next to the seaside her grandfather abandoned when he moved to be with his son. Kofu arranged all of their belongings from Unova to be moved into there. She doesn't come back often and would rather not due to not wanting to be reminded of her family.

Was very sheltered, so she's pretty bad at social cues sometimes.

Extremely easy to persuade (tho she recognizes it and doesn't want to) if you tell her to do something she'll go along with it as to not make anyone angry or disappointed. Bad at speaking up for herself.

This gets better with time though, gets pretty apathetic and kinda angry eventually after she becomes champion when the bs with her dad starts up.

at first i wanted there to only be a few of them, HOWEVER. im finding the idea of them being a big ass family in paldea (like how hassel has a big ass family of dragon bitches?? mb the harts is also a big ass fam of ppl whomst have long standing ties in paldea and are close to hassel's family lolz) they only SEEM mysterious at first bc harts dad never told her about them at all, and in turn neither did her grampz really.
big users of luvdiscs obviously lol... as well as tinkatons. not sure the lifespan of luvdiscs but i think it'd be cool if in the hart family it's like customary for the Family Luvdisc(tm) to be passed down to different generations when their kids start their pokemon journey.
Past
Caroline "Red" Hart's early years were marked by a haunting sense of isolation, in the shadows of her father's mysterious past. Born in Paldea to Carwen Hart, her father's growing paranoia led to their sudden relocation to Unova.
Raised primarily by her grandfather, Amando "Vida" Hart, Caroline found solace in his love, but her father's unexplained paranoia and emotional detachment cast a pall over her household. The strained relationship with Carwen and the isolation imposed upon her created a timid and sheltered persona.
The sudden disappearance of Carwen around Caroline's 15th birthday left her orphaned, with only a Pokéball containing the family Luvdisc as a memento. Amando's subsequent passing due to a broken heart added to her grief.
Amando had taken Caroline to Paldea in the past, introducing her to his best friend, Kofu. With no one else to turn to, Caroline reached out to Kofu after her father's disappearance. Kofu, recognizing the void in her life, became her guardian and pseudo-father figure. He enrolled her in Uva Academy, offering her a chance at a new beginning in the region that had been kept a secret from her for so long.

A member of the Hart family, and a pretty well known professor/researcher in Paldea in his younger years, who worked with Turo/Sada and Clavell to research The Great Crater of Paldea.
He was very easygoing and likable in his early years, but found/saw ...something in his research that messed him up pretty bad. He became more and more isolated in himself and eventually fled Paldea entirely for another region.
His father, also a well known member of the Hart family in Paldea, eventually was able to get ahold of him and soon went to go stay with him in Unova, only to find out that he got a woman pregnant and she left him with the child fairly quickly into being in this new region.
About the time his daughter was 12-13, he just left. No warning signs, no letter left behind, gone. The only thing he left was the family Luvdisc "Amoure" who had been passed down from his father. And his father... took it hard and eventually ended up passing from a broken heart..haha...get it...hahah.. b.. broken h..art.. IM FUNNY.. mf died thinking his lil boy was dead. thats rough buddy
Turns out, he wasn't dead after all, and the truth was a lot more dark than what anyone thought it'd be.

A fisherman who was born and raised in Paldea, and a member of the large Hart family, Vida was an overall jolly and kindhearted man, who would do anything for his family, especially his only son who he was very proud of.

Kofu is close lifelong friend with Red's grandfather, and on rare occasions, her grandfather would travel back to Paldea to visit and bring her along. She absolutley loved him and also considered him family. In the wake of her fathers "disapperance" and her grandfather straight up dying making her PARENTLESS BEHAVIOR, she reached out to him and he took her in with open arms, and he became a father figure to her. Even more so because growing up her dad was a distant pos lmao..
You just feel like... Y'know... home or- uh- s-something... yeah... 'guess that's pretty cheesy.
Red thought Arven was a Big Jerk when they first met. Now look at em. Entirely inseparable. Maybe a liiiiitle too much actually, it's a little concerning but y'know. Just guys bein dudes. ^_^
They bonded pretty closely after he showed his vunerable side with his Mabosstiff, and out of everything she did she put Arven's needs above all else because she was heartbroken for him. That isn't to say they don't have their issues, her primary one with him being how he treats Miraidon and she doesn't hold back to call him out on it which strained their relationship a little bit at first.
As Red got to know him more, she realized his parental situation was scarily similar to hers and it only made her want to be around him more, she didn't open her mouth about it to relate to him with all of it until post-sv where her storyline with her own father begins, she stayed pretty tight lipped about her past until Arven found out about it first hand trying to help her.
Nothing like a good battle to turn that frown upside down!
Clung onto Nemona from the minute they met, needing desperately for someone to lean on after the stress of moving to Paldea, and boy did Nemona not mind at all. They are two sides of a coin, their personalities clashing as opposites, but they get along just fine, or as fine as you can get with someone talking over your every word. Nemona pretty much talked first and never asked her what she wanted, just like everyone else, so it took her a while to have genuine care for this over the top girl who dragged her around everywhere with no say.
Red comes around to her personality over time though, and realized Nemona was just pushing her to be the best she can be, something no one had done with her before, and over time she opened up to Nemona and she was able to slowly help with Red's terrible self-esteem. Overall looks up to and respects Nemona, it's wonderful to her to actually have a friend and rival who cares about making her a better person.
Nemona does not respect Red's boundries though, and the way Red has a hard time saying "no" to her has led to Red's relationship being strained with Arven due to his growing jelaousy.
