An au set in venula's alien world of Ikosa! Somewhat of a retelling/translation of the original story through a different lens :)
Age: mid 40s
Height: ~5'11" if they could stand

Occupation: well.
Due to the less than legal circumstances surrounding her birth chimera lacks a social role or presence in society entirely. She is kept as a secret by her mother and has learned to live in a way that takes up very little space and is very very quiet. She is left alone for large swaths of time as her mother works and sleeps through most of it, giving her an inverted sleep schedule compared to other ikosans. She is also woefully undersocialized and understimulated causing her lethargy and anxiousness simultaneously, she experiences an immense amount of frustration but doesnt know its source as this is the only way of living she has ever known. When her mother is in their quarters the two spend most of their time talking with one another, or styling and grooming eachothers hair and coats.
Unfortunately for her situation, she retains the usual curiosity and interest in others that other iterations of the character demonstrates but is much more obedient to her mother as she has had it hammered into her mind that if she is discovered she will die. Not just be a social outcast or maybe mistaken as a monster, but she will certainly and unceremoniously be killed. She focuses on the good things though the best she can, spending time observing her surroundings and making her own mental notes on them as well as picking at the strata walls for interesting shards of rock to collect.
