Frank Wozniak

Despite his cheery personality he has spent a fair bit of his adult life in serious situations and has definitely “seen some shit.” He grew up in a small farm town in Kansas with his parents and older brother, where he spent the majority of his childhood outdoors exploring the world around him, playing with his friends, and getting into plenty of mischief. In his teen and adult years he worked odd farmhand jobs until joining the army at 21, and was sent off to fight in the Korean War when the time came. When he returned home he decided to follow one of his childhood dreams and went through training to become a helicopter pilot, having plenty of experience by the time he was sent off to war again. He also became reacquainted with his high school sweetheart shortly after coming home from Korea, and is now in an (open) marriage with her, and they have two daughters together. Both nervous and excited at the chance to fly in the heat of battle, he is sent off to Vietnam, just as he finds out his wife is pregnant for a third time.

Personality

Frank is fun-loving, adventurous and optimistic, and usually warm and friendly with everyone he meets. He's loud and loves to joke around and make others laugh, even in times where humor is rude and inappropriate, (which can make him come off as insensitive sometimes.) Because he was lucky enough to have such a "wholesome" childhood in a quaint little town he is naturally trusting of others, to the point of being a bit naive, and usually chooses to see only the good in everyone. It’s nearly impossible to make him angry, nor does he like to focus on the negative, no matter how bad the situation gets. In many ways he’s immature, and more than a few times he’s been chastised for his attitude or given advice by people younger than he is. But when all is said and done he can be counted on to come through in a crisis, and rarely ends up letting anyone down when it really counts.

Mannerisms

"Personal space" doesn't seem to be a concept he understands, as he likes to lean in unnecessarily close when talking to people, and also has a tendency to put his arm around them or on their shoulder, regardless if their body language suggests they don’t like it, (tell him to back off and he will, though) and he's particularly affectionate with those he's romantically involved with. He’s very animated when speaking and makes a lot of over the top gestures when especially excited. He also has a habit of doing this..."wolf howl" thing when he wants to psych himself (and the people around him) up. He also drinks often, sometimes to excess, which causes him to become even more "annoying" than usual.

Voice

Has kind of a "southern" accent, (though not the strong "deep south" kind), and frequently uses contractions (e.g. the word “ain’t” and "runnin’" instead of "running") and, as expected, generally speaks louder than is necessary. As he gets older his voice is just a little bit hoarse as well, most likely from all his years of hollering and talking too damn much. (Best way to describe what he sounds like is to imagine what an aging American rock star’s voice is like. XD) Though I haven't watched TWD in years Negan's voice has always kind of reminded me of what Frank would sound like. (Warning for some extreme violence in that link tho!)

Dislikes: When people don't laugh at his jokes, Stormy weather, Snakes, Spiders, Serious Situations

Looks

Hair: Shaggy, dull brown hair which is starting to go grey, especially on the sides & in the back, and always has a mustache. (In his 20's his hair is cut very short, left a little longer on the top, and is often slicked back.) Has thick eyebrows, too.

Eyes: Brown (a little darker than his hair), and pretty much always bright & cheerful looking.

Build:His build is fairly average and "soft" (especially his belly, he's got a little bit of a "pooch"), and he has pretty much no muscle at all. He's also quite hairy!

Scars/Body Modifications/Other distinguishing features: A couple birthmarks on either side of his face, one near his eye and the other just underneath it. (Probably has other birthmarks elsewhere too, but the ones on his face are the most noticeable.)

Clothing

Out of his army uniform he dresses pretty casually most of the time: he's a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy, and often wears golf shirts as well. He has a few leather biker jackets which he wears when riding his motorcycle, or just when the weather is cooler. He will also unabashedly wear short shorts/cutoffs, tank tops, and belly shirts in hot weather. :p
