Berry Rían McCree is a hellborne singer, songwriter, and actor based in the United States. After leaving the underworld for Sacramento, he'd play in play in Dry Spell (1968). About three years later, he'd become the lead vocalist for the rock band Batless. They would make 4 albums, one of which peaked in number 10 on the the Modern Rock Tracks before breaking up in 1983 due to "financial issues." He'd be revealed to be from Hell soon after, and got severe backlash following the investigation. Despite this, he'd release his solo albums Everyone But You! and Bang Vegas, and would eventually launch his solo music project, The Musical Parlor, in 2009.

Early Life

Rían claims to be born on August 30, though this has yet to be confirmed by officials. He'd been born into the Hell Royal family, being the son of Lucifer, where he'd supposedly been raised to handle "matters" and, even take over the throne in case of an emergency. He was one of 7 Devils, and represented the sin of Pride. He'd taken an interest in musical theater from some of the sinners there, and would practice this in his spare time.

Eventually, he supposedly began to date the Devil of Lust, coined as Mona Lisa, who would later be found of having sex with an angel. This supposedly angered him to the point of violence. This would later reach Satan, who arrested Mona Lisa for said sex with an angel, which is a chargeable felony offence for royals in Hell. She'd later run away. Reports say she ran to earth and is still here today as a prostitute in Ohio, others say they finally caught her and sent her away for good.

The overworld

It is unknown why Rían left hell. Some say he also escaped Hell for one reason or another, most saying its because he couldn't do his theatre where he was. Others say he was going to track down Mona Lisa himself. People even say that his dad had sent him to earth, as a spy or otherwise. Whatever the case, he first shown up in the books in Sacramento, California in 1966 as a bartender. He'd only keep that job for about 5 months before picking up a role in the film Dry Heels in 1967. This is where he'd find future band member Derek Leto, who would eventually drop his role to go further into his research of a Horseman sighting. The movie would be released in October 16, 1968, with average reception. According to an interview with The Rolling Stone in 1976, this is also where he'd gotten his circus aesthetic.

Music career

1971-1983: Batless

          Main article: Batless

He'd later help small artists, such as The Boogiemen and Bart Novaselic with their music videos, specifically Feverdream (1969), F.B.I. (1969) and BoDY ODER (1970) before eventually being invited by Leto to sing for his new band Batless, at the time only being joined by serial summoner Richard Allman. After also inviting guitarist Rex Trisket after seeing him in a local music competition, where he'd get 4th, they began recording demos for their first album Brand New Face. Eventually, they'd need a drummer, and posted a calling around the city. They'd eventually pick up the Horseman of Death to complete their lineup, and eventually put out their album in 1972 independently.

Controversy

During the 80's in what was called the satanic panic, people had started to get suspicious of demonic activities, with the rock band themselves being no exception to this. People, including fellow musician Felix Osborne, have looked the singer through thick lens and determined that something was up with him. In 1982, he'd say to the press, "Man, wouldn't that be cool? You know, not getting a whole mob up your ass because of a false statement made because some people didn't like the way you walked onto the stage on tour a few days ago. Here's something, go for Felix's ass, it's fucking tight!"

People have found more proof to go with the claim that something was up, the most agreed upon being his resistance to fire, his lack of fatigue, even after a year of touring, and not much information about his life before the band outside of his strange looking high school friends and him claiming that his mother, named Imagination, is currently dead, and that his father was an Anonymous Donor. Eventually the record label would grow increasingly more distrusting of McCree in particular, claiming that he was in charge of a demonic cult who was trying to poison the minds of the youth. Despite the split public stance on his identity, he and his band continued finding success under a new label, I.R.S.

However, in August 3rd, 1983, the band was investigated in their studio for drug charges by the police force. Supposedly he had knew one of the cops and had lashed out in full demon form, killing the man in the process. The band's drummer would also get in on the action. The band would break up less than two months after, however rather than the incident, they stated it was because "financial reasons."

1984 - Present: Solo Career

Not far after the break up and it didn't seem to phase him too much. He's done interviews with magazines on the matter, stating things like "To be real it was kind of refreshing after the initial shock," and "If any of you guys think I give a shit you're barking up the wrong tree." Despite loosing most contact with his other band members, he'd later make his first solo album, Everyone but You!, in 1987, and later Bang Vegas a few years later.

In 2009, he'd announce on his MySpace that he'd started yet another larger scale project he'd chip at overtime, titling it The Music Parlor. He'd describe it as an experimental concept collection. It's currently been active for 8 years not counting hiatuses, and has a small cult following. He's also more known for his eccentric personality on Twitter.
