1928. It's been twenty-eight years since the events of TIYF, and thirty-three since the events of WFP.

The Whirling Quatuor was a sensation, all across the west, all the way to the country as well. Can you possibly imagine- they were broadcasted on the first prototypes of wired radios, even after their separation, in 1915! Coraline, the lead singer and guitar player, definitely settled down in Frisco with her husband and children, as soon as she retired from the band. That did not mean that she entirely stopped playing music! Though now, she preferred keeping it to her relatives, as her voice grew weary and less melodious than in her youth. She still appreciates putting on a performance to those who want to hear one, though now, she is more focused on catering for the animals at the ranch with Rudy.

During the events of Shadows Over Loathing, Coraline starts getting worried, as she received little to no news from her daughter, Betty. It has been six years since she traveled to Ocean City, and for the first time in a while, she didn't receive any news from her, nor Henry. This was not usual. Adding to that that Austin, her son, left for college and jazz performances as well, her now acquainted mother instincts got the best of her, and she cannot stop thinking about her loving children, for the life of her.

Rudy Dieot

Since the day they met, at that obscure saloon in the desert, she is in absolute awe of how far they came together; to the point of building a loving family! Together, they shared the same aspiration of raising their children and giving them the childhood they could ever possibly dream of. Coraline is thankful of having him in her life; from the lightest to the toughest moments, he was always here to give her the assurance and care she deeply needed. (OC by kiwinatorwaffles !)

Austin Dieot

As he was little, Austin really liked listening to his mother's skills at striking a cute little tune on her guitar, with his sister by his side. She was really supportive to him, from his extensive knowledge on insects, to his entry in college and his jazz band starting. Never once was Coraline disappointed in her son; on the contrary, she was with him all the way, after ledging him her punching gun, the very one she used to behold, when she was a carefree spirit. It's now his turn to explore the outside world. (OC by kiwinatorwaffles !)

Betty Dieot

Beatrice was like her ray of sunshine to her. Through her daughter's life, Coraline always made sure to teach her the ways of the Barcheor-Tretchys; resiliance and freedom of spirit. Betty was the creative spirit of the family, and her ma would sometimes help her coming up with ideas she would sew later on! But... it has been six years since she has last heard from her. Where could she possibly be now? This makes her worried sick just thinking about the dreadful conditions her daughter might be in, now she left for Ocean City.

Camellia Puntchallow

Her big sister by a couple years! Throughout their youth, she and Coraline would often play together, but that moment of euphoria got cut short after the Cows Came Home. As she was locked into the mansion, Camellia traveled North to get her degree in Bottany, then had to travel to Frisco to find an opportunity in life. She found a bargain for an underground company; the Manifesty Railroad Company. Coraline and her reunited when the tracks were getting built. Since then, the two of them became inseperable, sharing secrets and tips, just like they did back then.

Ivanabe Gaye

While exploring the West, Cory got introduced to her via Rudy. They both shared similar interests in music, and from there grew a mutual friendship. Coraline would best describe her as "the most loyal friend [she] ever had the chance to meet", rooting for her and Rudy as they went on with their newly found life, and Cory doing the same as she kept hitting new horizons. Ivy's sudden disappearance was what sparked Austin's eagerness to adventure and find her, and with it, Cory's nigh-high hopes that her dear friend fares well. (OC by kiwinatorwaffles !)

Noah Homeo

Just as she did with Ivy, it was thanks to Rudy's encounter that she got to befriend Noah. And just like with Ivy, she became good friends with him as well. She is appreciative of him being there for the twins as well, and saw his eagerness to show them the right example. What is there not to like about him, quite seriously! (OC by kiwinatorwaffles !)

"Becky" Puntchallow

They are Camellia's only child. Watching Austin and Betty playing with them already, as they were just a newborn, truly filled her face with glee. She saw many bright things ahead, but unfortunately, tragedy had to struck in the wrong places, both for them and their mother. But seeing their resiliance and determination to provide to their family, Cory knew not to fear; they were going to succeed in all they did, and she only knew that.
