I had another surgery yesterday for another abscess that popped up, The doctors really dont tell you just how painful trying to remove packing is! even when soaking wet! 

I got a big part out but some of it mended to the wounded tissue so I had to leave that in and left them a message so hopefully tomorrow i can go to the office they can numb me up and then remove the packing, And then hopefully we can just. leave it open like they did the other one because O U C H!!

I feel sad though because I have to get the colorectal surgeon to do the fistula surgery but im worried shes going to do what she did with my ileostomy surgery and just keep pushing it back until i end up in the hospital again with severe infection again ugh. I hope not! But thankfully any surgery for abscesses i get so long as there arent complications are simple surgeries i can go back home after from! 

Also my wacom cable replacement for the broken one is finally arrived so i can start drawing again! Still waiting on my new Huion tho

The doctors think I'll be able to be discharged in a few days and I think I'm getting used to the ostomy bag changes! Let me tell you something it is weird seeing some veggies and seeds just in the bag not fully digested. Like I know that happens with corn for example (which i can no longer eat unless its pureed) but kiwi seeds and carrots bits was not expected. 

The abscesses are healing nicely including the year old one though some of it is still open its healing from the inside out as it should. Definitely going to be quite the scar since that one was a large incision due to how big it had gotten. 

They said when im discharged first they'll set up supplies through insurance and send me home with a few ostomy supplies until the first shipment arrives. And I'll get pain medication of course and go from IV antibiotics for the skin infection to oral antibiotics

So my vision is still a little wonky from waking up a few minutes ago but I just wanted to let you all know I'm doing okay and surgery went well! Ostomy bag is in place and they took care of another abscess that was also there for a long time while I was under as well so i wouldn't need another surgery to do it.

Tomorrow is my ileostomy surgery, got my lil polka dot mark of where its going to go on my belly ayyy 

The first surgery they did went well, I'll be here for about a week on IV antibiotics for the skin infection and then they hope to do a colonoscopy to get a look at my ileum and then be able to do the loop ileostomy that the colorectal surgeon has been planning to do for so long but kept pushing back for so dang long.
