I’ve had this infection for about 8 months now, mind you I’m immunocompromised so of course it’s just getting worse and my body is not able to fight it on its own, Meanwhile I told my doc SIX MONTHS AGO when I first went to an appointment for it (after 2 months of seeing if it’d go away in its own and then not having availability) that hey, I had these exact symptoms when I had severe infections throughout my body in these unpleasant areas the year that I had my emergency Ostomy surgery, back then in the hospital they had me on various antibiotics to treat those infections and it went away.
But nah she insisted on an MRI, WHICH ISNT UNTIL MARCH BECAUSE OF COURSE
Meanwhile when I was in the hospital (got discharged today) they did a urine test, various blood tests and a CT scan all of which showed YEAH. You’ve got severe infections, BUT THEY DIDNT PRESCRIBE ME ANTIBIOTICS. Told me to see my doc

I have an appointment with my doc tomorrow morning because they managed to squeeze me in next to someone else’s appointment, And I’m going to insist once again that they prescribe antibiotics, and if they don’t I’m going to have them document their refusal to treat me with the antibiotics, that way, if I end up with sepsis or some shit because it’s been 8 MONTHS NOW WITH INFECTIONS IN PLACES THEY SHOULDNT BE

Has anyone ever had their wrist splinted before? I’m supposed to wear it day and night but I find that when I wake up in the morning the pain is worse with the splint on compared to before? And it’s supposed to keep it from bending the bends that further injure my hand and wrist but like? I’m wondering if it’s even doing that, is it normal for it to hurt in morning?

Hi! So on Halloween night I had a bad fall and have been ignoring the pain and swelling in my hand as much as I could, But unfortunately it’s gotten to a point where I can’t quite move my hand, which happens to be my dominant hand (right) to be able to do things like move fingers, bend, etc. So! I’m going to be on a small injury break, hopefully the meloxicam my doc prescribed today will help with the swelling, but for now drawing output is slowing down again, most of you should have your sketches already or even line art phase, thank you for your patience with me while I tackle these.
Oh! And on other news mental health wise i already told some friends and stuff, But I got an official ADHD diagnosis (and uh, I’m also on the spectrum oop) and have an appointment with the psychologist to speak about trying a medication tomorrow to hopefully help with the symptoms and anxiety, So assuming it goes well? (Since my insurance needs to pre authorize it for the brand name because the generics are NOT gluten free and I have celiac) I should hopefully be medicated soon and be able to tackle things quicker, so here’s to hoping c:
