Iemori was smitten with Makino from the moment he met her, and counted himself the luckiest man in the world when the two married. After having a beautiful daughter together, Iemori was convinced his life was perfect. Up until Makino ran off. Iemori was heartbroken, and shut himself off from the world. However, he continued to work his hardest to support and protect his daughter. He was only given further heartbreak when his daughter ran off, following in her mother's tracks. Iemori held a bit of anger towards Makino for a long time, but upon seeing her once more, some fifteen years later was washed over with relief, even if it was only for a short while. Makino's passing was a gut wrenching blow to him, but he was at peace knowing that she was as well, heading her words, and doing what he can to find happiness for himself once again.
Makino loved her husband a great deal, and was grateful he took her in even when she was a complete stranger. The tow lived happily with one another for several years, but after Yura was born, Makino feared what relation to her would do to her family, so she left, heartbroken to have to abandon the man who endlessly loved and sacrificed so much to protect her and her daughter. when the two met some fifteen years later, Makino struggled to face Iemori, and was only able to after Yura's arrest. As the two went to save their daughter, their reunion was cut short as Makino gave her life to protect her family, they shared one final embrace, during which Makino implored for Iemori to move on and find happiness with another once more, before passing away.
Yura's relationship with her mother was very short but extremely impactful. She never knew her mother growing up, and felt a bit of anger towards her because of this. She felt abandoned, and it was because of her mother than Yura left home and went on to do what she did. When she finally met her mother, Yura was enraged, confused and frustrated, but also glad to see that her mother didn't hate her. Despite their short relationship, Yura was crushed by the news of her Mother's death.
Makino loved Yura a great deal, and this is why she left in the first place. She feared what her history might mean for her child, and decided it best if She was never part of Yura's life to begin with. It wasn't until much later, finally seeing her daughter grown for the first time, that Makino realize what a horrible mistake she had made abandoning her daughter. She tried her best to make it up to her, and the two actually had a decent relationship, but it was cut short after Makino gave her life in the Vault in order to protect the husband and daughter she had abandoned.
Yura doesn't exactly understand Edilia's occasional hostility towards her, but doesn't regard her in any bad way. The two are often forced to work together, and do so well. Their conversations aren't generally half bad either.
Edilia isn't Yura's biggest fan, and sometimes feels a sense of competition with the girl over Vetelle's affections. However, the two aren't on bad terms, and actually work well together when they have too.
Vetelle adore's Edilia, and is greateful for the woman's hard work and dedication to her. She saw promise in the woman from a young age, and was elated to have the girl come on as Vetelle's personal guard. The two are rarely seen outside each others company, and share a great deal of respect with one another.
Edilia has always respected Vetelle a great deal. She loves the woman as a sister and a friend, and her devotion to the woman is unwavering. Vetelle showed Edilia a kindness she had no idea existed within the nobility, and as such, came to feel a sense of gratefulness and dedication to the woman. She eventually went on and became Vetelle's own personal guard, a duty she takes extremely seriously. She can sometimes be seen as overprotective of the woman, but trusts her with her life, and never questions an order Vetelle gives her.
J'thaque once worked closely with Fofofara, and it isn't a time her remembers fondly. While the both are admitted rapscallions and charming tricksters, Fofofara's more reckless nature was a bit much for even J'thaque to put up with. The two separated, but came into contact with one another some time later. J'thaqye was not only surprised that Fofofara was still alive, but he was also shocked to see how well the Lala was doing. Not only had the short man amassed a huge information network, but he had even grown an actual conscious of a sort. The two slowly began to work together once again while J'thaque was traveling with Yura.
Fofofara worked with J'thaque for a time, and thought the two were actually a good team. However, the Lala was never J'thaque's favorite person, and soon his reckless behavior and pompous attitude proved too much for J'thaque to want to put up with. The two split up, but met again sometime later. Fofofara had amassed a large network of information by this point, and was admittedly more humble than he had been before, though he'd never admit it. He was glad to see his friend again, and the two began working together every so often once again.
J'thaque was one of the first people Yura met after leaving Ishgard. She didn't like him at the start, but he proved to be a valuable ally, and in time, a good friend to her. She depends on him more often than she'd like to admit, and is extremely grateful for his decision to assist her, even if it was out of pure curiosity.
J'thaque met Yura after she first left Ishgard. At first, he just felt bad for the poor confused child, and intended only to help her find her way to Gridania. He soon became attached to the girl however, and was fascinated by her drive. He elected to remain with Yura, even if she wasn't his biggest fan.
Yura has always held Vetelle in the highest regard, and respects her whole-heartily. Vetelle has been a big sister figure to Yura from a very young age, and the two were rarely seen outside one another's company. Yura regretted having to leave Vetelle behind a great deal. When they met once again, Yura was terrified to see her friend, and what she would think. The two were easily able to resume their friendship, however.
Vetelle sees Yura as a younger sister, and has always adored the girl. She admire's Yura's inititive and integrity, and has always believed the girl would do great things one day. She was torn up discovering Yura had left, and was one of the people beside's Yura's father to spend the most time and resources seeking the girl out. Vetelle was the first to discover Yura's whereabouts, thanks to Aymeric, and was near furious when she saw the girl again. However, she had a hard time staying angry, and the two quickly resumed their friendship, but only after having Yura swear she would contact her father.
Yura is Iemori's daughter, and respects the man a great deal, as he is the one who raised her. However, her relationship with him became a bit strained as Yura developed an obsession with finding her mother, eventually causing her to leave home at a young age without a word. Yura spent a few Years desperately avoiding contact with her father as he tried to locate her. Yura was ashamed of herself when forced to confront her father during her return to Ishgard, but their relationship has begun to recover, and Iemori tries his best to bond with his daughter.
Iemori is Yura's father, and the one who raised Yura. He loves his daughter immensely but can be overprotective. He began to become distant from Yura in her pre-teen, and eventually had to live through watching his beloved daughter leave home without so much as a word to him. He was shocked and upset the next time they met some few years later, but was happy to have his daughter back.
