Its rumored that the Mother of Death waits beneath the soil . She slumbers, waiting for a time to pull herself from the dirt, to wrench the souls from mortal bodies. Reap the sinners and saints alike, her cold talons carry no judgement. In times of great war, it is said that she can be seen soaring above the battlefields, just beyond of the billows of smoke- her silhouette as dark as death itself.
BACKGROUND
Kalos, a region wracked with war, heals from a terrible civil war that split the nation only just twenty years ago. Despite one of the best champions in generations newly installed and successfully ending the war, Kalos still echoes with the pain of its past. In the current, a young orphan boy named Alrune makes an a decision to leave his life behind and start anew, a decision that changes not only his life, but Kalos's future.

LEAGUE
Kalos, a region struck with countless war, is based on the system of champions. Founded on the ideology that only the good are strong, you must prove yourself worthy by fighting through your way through League. The League consists of 8 leaders of their respecting city, each strong in their own right. Once besting each of the 8 leaders in combat, you may proceed to fighting the champion themselves. The champion, ruler and dictator of Kalos, will do their sworn duty of protecting their throne. However, if you are to somehow beat the Champion in a battle and take their throne, Kalos's fate would be in the palm of your hand.
The champion system is ancient, generations of great and powerful champions echoing through Kalos' history.
However. Not all champions have been great. Possibly, in the past the vicious ones outnumber the noble. And History is known to repeat itself.
GODS
XERNEAS
Xerneas, otherwise known as 'Father Of Life', is often believed to take the shape of a large deer, or tree. He is often seen as Kalos's savior, as he is often associated with periods of peace and flourish.
Most Kalosians believe in the Gods that take shelter in their region. Though the list of world-wide gods is huge, Kalos citizens are mostly concerned only with the gods in their respective region. It is believed that these gods founded the land of Kalos itself.
YVELTAL
Yveltal, otherwise known as 'Mother of Death', is often believed to take the shape of a large raven or bat. People who worship Yveltal are often regarded as strange. She is associated with times of war in Kalos, and is mostly feared by all.
ZYGARDE
Zygarde is only ever referred to as 'The Balance.' They are rumored to protect the balance of life and death. There are many great tales of Zygarde coming out of the dirt to cease the fighting between Yveltal and Xerneas.
