Karma is Brinley's "bad influence" friend. Karma is often the one who convinces Brin to go out drinking and partying, and as much fun as it is, she's usually the reason Brin wishes she stayed home that night. Trouble seems to follow her everywhere, and Brinley always seems to be bailing her out.
Karma genuinely cares about Brinley, and thinks she needs to get out of her own head and have fun. Unfortunately Karma usually goes overboard and things get out of hand. Lucky for her, Brinley is very reliable and has saved her ass many times.
He and Shingai are good friends, and usually feed off of each other's chaotic energy and get extremely hyper. Great decisions are not always the result, and Kumari usually needs to keep their idiocy in check.
He and Daze are good friends, and usually feed off of each other's chaotic energy and get extremely hyper. Great decisions are not always the result, and Kumari usually needs to keep their idiocy in check.
He finds Kumari intimidating, and gets easily spooked by her, but knows she has a good heart. He's learned to mind his energy around her when she's stressed. Sometimes all she needs is for someone to be there with her, even if no words are spoken.
She and Daze aren't horribly close, but much like Shingai she's known him for years, and she, Shingai and Peri are all very protective of him. Sometimes his innocence is a soothing reminder that not everything is wrong in the world.
She's been friends with him since they were kids, and while he gets under her skin he's gotten her through a lot over the years, and she considers him one of her closest friends (just don't tell him that)
He and Kumari have been friends since they were kids, and Shingai has always looked up to her (not that he'd tell her that.) He's seen her struggle through a lot throughout their lives, and can often make her laugh when no one else can. It helps more than he realizes
(Friend) A close friend of Siofra's. Almost like a second mother!
(Friend) The adopted child of Siofra. Divinity cares greatly for the foal and treats her as her own.
(Acquaintance) A fjord stallion that coexists nearby.
(Acquaintance) A strange young foal that always sticks close to Siofra's side.
(Aly) Another Aurora Biotas like herself, but in the form of a small fjord horse. While they don't know each other well and hardly speak, they choose to dwell in a shared territory for extra protection and peace of mind.
(Aly) Another Aurora Biotas like himself, though a bit taller and gloomier. While they don't know each other well and hardly speak, they choose to dwell in a shared territory for extra protection and peace of mind.
(Ana's adopted mother) This young foal feels familiar in a foggy, distant sort of way that Siofra can't recall. She likes to keep an eye on the foal when it's around, to make sure it stays out of trouble.
(Siofra's adopted foal) This mare feels familiar in a foggy, distant sort of way that Ana can't recall, but they feel safe with her and sticks close to her.
Isera sees her as a spoiled princess and a constant thorn in her side, both of which are fairly accurate. While they are polar opposites, they met as children and have stayed in touch, which has gotten Isera out of a few hard spots.
Isera is a very dangerous friend to keep, especially for someone of Etta's rank. But as much as they argue, they've had each others backs for years and always seem to owe each other favors.
Monakrih had a very "hands-off approach" to being a mother, leading to Isera raising herself from a very young age, and nearly dying multiple times throughout her childhood. She and her mother hardly ever spoke, and even now Isera fears and respects her, but their relationship is cold at best.
Monakrih is not close with her daughter. She was never the "motherly" type. As far as she's concerned though, she did what was required. She kept the child alive, and the child learned how to keep herself alive under her mother's watch. Monakrih probably would have even stepped in if the child were close to death. Probably. But then again she'd never really spoken to the girl, so it wouldn't have been a huge loss.
Siofra has found great comfort in having another mare around to dote on again. Still tends to be listless and shaken however, trying to adapt to the new reality she was thrown into without warning. But she feels safer with Divi by her side.
She feels very protective over Siofra, even if Siofra is the more capable one physically. Divinity can feel and empathize with the mare's grief, and may have developed some feelings for her overtime, even knowing the other can't seem to let go.
