Subject M081, sometimes referred to as "MOBI" in shorter notes. A poor soul, much like the other younger subjects in the lab. Some people here will dismiss their moral obscenities with the excuse that some of these patients are already doomed with the harsh conditioning of residing here. That it makes them numb and docile to conscious actions, that should they escape anyways everything engrained into their "non-sentient" heads would succumb to the outside. Sick bastards...It has been about well past a month since this patient's escape, others insist they still must be out there and to be retrieved. Whatever happens, whatever they may do, I only hope that they not only are able to avoid capture, but find it in themself to avoid having to hurt others the same way they have been hurt.
I'll be honest, I never quite liked this guy. He was another one of those more off-putting staff members that you really wouldn't want to be under the knife of, and unfortunately, a good handful of subjects were. Up until Subject M081's treatment lead to his very own demise. I don't really know how to really conclude my feelings on what happened to him, but he really should have reconsidered his methods.
Solitary Confinement Subject #001, maybe even the first one ever in this lab. I'm not given as much free access to "the depths below", but I know of this subject's existence. I've heard a few things about him here and there, which would be enough to give an outsider's impression of "Pestilence, the Father", but not enough to give me answers and truly know on a deeper level. He's got to be the oldest patient in the establishment, if I can get the chance to reach him, maybe he can tell me more. If he's open to communicating, that is.
A.I. Security Systems Unit "Shepherd". A very dedicated member of the lab and as far as I'm concerned has been apart of the lab for a decently lengthy period too. Supposedly was a constructed project by Cain himself, which admittedly made me a bit hesitant to interact with too much as after all he seems loyal and very capable of reporting suspicious activity and enacting detainment. Over time the unit has grown on me a little, has the youthful energy of someone bright and genuinely believing they're contributing to something greater in the lab...Would kind of hate to be the one to reveal otherwise.
Mr. Pandora, the one and only owner of the entire lab, maybe even the founder so to speak...something I can't fully buy. Or at least, there's clearly dirt on this man that somehow tacks onto even more problems he has overall. I don't think reason is part of his element, I can't let him or any of his "lapdogs" catch onto my investigations. Do I dare to risk my fate to see everything he has hiding? What dried blood he managed to disguise as the...colour theory of a false hospital this place is? The point is, clearly more to him just like that other man...
The most important question may be if he'll be careful enough to get out with what he has and will discover...
Things clearly don't add up the moment this man comes into the picture. Absolutely no records of him are to be found, or at least, not open among staff. Not even some of the higherups have anything to say or seem to refrain from acknowledging what they may know. Who was this man, truly? What happened to him?
Among the vast cosmos, you feel as if your feet don't touch the ground, a moment of weightlessness takes your breath away. May you find your footing. I am sorry for how everything turned out for you. [Where the pieces end up?]
Light as a feather, stiff as a board.
I’ve never seen this one awake before, I suppose he’s doing what he is meant to?
A lovely lady, she does her job well and with a smile. Very nice to have for tea
This player reminds him a lot about himself...and for the worst reasons. Please, do not go down the same path he did. You do not need to make the drastic sacrifices you believe is necessary, do not push yourself away from others. Whatever you do...please, don't lose your humanity out there.
It seems that no matter how much time has passed, V will always be as pathetic as always. It’s just a part of who that slimy eyeball is. They have nothing but that reflection of jealousy and their schemes to bring others down just to make them feel superior. They’re a nobody. Haha! Tell The Timewitch how that goes for you again, V!
...(crack) [Oh, of course this is the kind of person *you* had to turn out to be the moment you get power. Such I haven't seen before, admittedly...Still, for such smugness it must have been easy to reach, especially to become nearly as hollow as me. Just don't get in my way and I won't care any further of you.]
Tricky proxy. Can you believe their proxy plans(tm) were foiled by gay people?
Greed moves the world around. The Timewitch can respect that, but certainly not his outfit. They prefer being behind the scenes and moving the narrative along. Oh well, as Stonks likes to say, a deal’s a deal! That’s one principle The Timewitch respects the most- and happens to use to their advantage.
Tragedy is an inherent part of life. Besides, this is how the narrative progresses! Through tragedy, hardship, and death. The world doesn’t change without it. The Timewitch doesn’t have much empathy for Sobble and what they’ve gone through. Sometimes, your loved ones must die in a brutal fashion in front of you. Oops! Really, there’s nothing that could be done for them, Sobble.
A pitiable man. You aren’t human- never were. Only a fool would try to deny that. They do love what Sloth did to that one town, though! A whole town, never able to sleep or die… stuck, frozen in time. Stagnation in its finest- such a delightful little event!
How’s your toys, Mythos? I’m starting to think you collect them just to break them. You have fun with it, admit it!
As do you with your very own "toys". As long as they stay on the right path, I say "the fate has big plans for you" and they do what they're told. Now then, where were we on our game of chess?
