We're both men of our word, something I can respect. A deals a deal, a bets a bet, and debts are to be paid! I knew the risks, and I still played with fire. I can't blame the one who lit the flame for my own choices.
...What do you want from me? I have nothing to say about them. Leave me alone.
It was nothing but silence at first. Before slowly filling with laughter. Laughter and cries that doesn't look like it's coming from these figures but you hear it surrounding you, a roar of voices that soon become incomprehensible. Are they entertained? Upset? Mocking? Praising?? It only grows more and more until it starts to feel like the haze that static noise brings. Maybe you hear the fluttering wings and screeches of birds. You can't make sense of it. It's deafening it's blinding the weight of your actions the pressure of the eyes staring you down-
please, PLEASE, what do you WANT FROM ME ? just STOP LOOKING AT ME, isnt this what you ASKED for?! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT, what more do I have to lose..? ...Audience, can you hear me? Are you laughing? ....Why are you all laughing...?
It's been difficult, I... I lost my entire family that day. The entire kingdom, it's all gone... But I'm still here. I'll still protect what's left.
"h-hello? is there anyone here? i seem to be lost! where... ah, where, where even am i...."
An invaluable ally- without access to the trains they arent sure how they wouldve made ANY progress on finding Stray. They have some... mild conflictions about the whole thing(fucking TRAINS.) but the conductor himself is real nice- he appreciates their straightforward speaking and regard for safety(helps that hes kind of attractive too(WEREN'T YOU JUST COMPLAINING ABOUT TRAINS) hate the sin love the sinner- whatever, come ON let me FLIRT-).
What an unfortunate inheritance- but that doesn’t free you from your obligations, Teeny. Play your part.
She didn't have a choice, she had to take on the burden her parent had when they were a pawn. Still, having grown into the role she does as instructed. She has to, no matter the cost.
This game was fun- intriguing, for a time, seeing how far he would go. But now it’s grown dull. He’s grown to be too much of a hinderance, this rat scrabbling futilely at its cage.
Mr. Sigurd, I don't exactly see or speak to him much. Despite being a higher up I somehow overlooked him a little, perhaps due to some of his behind the scene work here and there like Cain, still wary of him. Especially regarding his temporary position covering for Cain since his disappearance. The two have some shady history, I barely skid by finding some notes and Forseti's files. Some grim things to gather from there to say the least...Nevertheless, hopefully he's not any more observant..If I remain insignificant in his sights, I'll be able to push just a little more forward and get the truth out, the lab is bound to fall soon--
Salem is...nice? In her own way I suppose, she's elusive and I think she likes it that way. She hides her intentions from everyone so not even they seem to know how to feel about her. Oddly enough it feels like she's put some of her attention on me, offering delicious healthy meals to have at the cafeteria instead of my office, and I could have sworn QSS didn't just trip on nothing that one time. She's helped me out...but I should likely keep this under wraps, I wouldn't want anyone else to get too involved in this or we'd both be in trouble.
Quite the funny fellow. Love how he runs around and squirms with the slightest nudge. I'm sure he'll prove himself to be.... Interesting.
Hes a doctor. same as the rest.
Marlin, what can I say about this subject that doesn't just consist of his inflicted misery by the lab...? One of the lab's chew toys, due to being one of the parasite hosts with an extremely effective power, his invincibility. Of course much like the others, this wasn't by choice, and they take advantage of that. He seems so tired...but he also tries his best to support another subject, the younger one, Amir. They seem relatively close but I worry that may be used against them, please be safe by the end of all this mess.
This is but one of the few dragons I have dedicated my personal studies to! It's my destiny to track down and meet this entity one on one, whether that means bringing a fight or whatever else so be it. I know he's out there somewhere, it's just like the scriptures say! And once I reach my goal, I'll get the answers I crave, which...! ..Um, I...think I wrote it down somewhere, surely I'll know for certain what I'm here most for. Stupid notes, was it that thing or the other I needed to discover...??
D-do we have to fight..?! Can we just... Settle it over a cup of tea-!?
I’m sorry, I don’t think I know you
His name was...is Siph. With the condition he's in, he shows no signs of remembering or even being fully conscious. This subject is not one assigned to me, I don't see him often so I had to snoop for his files for these answers. The fact he had been changed so drastically from the man he once was is a dreadful feeling, definitely one of the lab's examples at what extremes they could get to, if that's even the tip of the iceberg. What should I do if it's too late to do anything for subjects like him?
It doesn't take a scientist to tell that something just isn't right with this guy. Not too hard to avoid talking with this guy, usually. He tends to be in his own world, often to other's detriments. You would not want to be under his blade, another addition to why I feel bad for a lot of these test subjects. I can see how the lab values his skill and dedication however, he's been able to make some impressive work. Although, I heard what I believe was his proudest work got stolen...Good.
One of our younger patients, and another subject in the parasite host projects. I honestly don't know where to begin with what I've seen this kid go through, and for all I know what I saw might just be the half of it. Amir has suffered a lot of trauma, most often mental and emotional, but not excluding physical unfortunately after witnessing them endure a knee to the gut. By the owner no less. I probably was not meant to see that but I doubt someone like him would really care if he caught me. The kid really deserves much better than this, though I do appreciate how they seem to get along with the test subject Marlin. He seems to provide a bit of a comforting presence despite the situation and tests they're sometimes put in together. Maybe when I'm able to find a way to actually try and help, they'll both find something better. I hope you'll be able to gain control over those powers without being used by others.
