A fork is not a good weapon.
Got off on decidedly the wrong foot, but quickly made a friend of him. Offered, together with Sam, to give him and his guardian a place to stay should the situation on Ceskion ever become untenable for them. Believes there comes a time at which anyone would need help, even if that time isn't now, and refuses to give up on them because of that.
Though he may disagree vehemently with how Jason manages both himself and situations he's in at times, Jack can understand why he is the way he is, having led a similar life to him even well before they met on Euthora. He considers himself a rather close friend of Jason's, largely due to Jason being one of the few people to see him for what he was; a broken teenager with a history of abuse and abandonment stuck in a magitech body.
Though Jack is unable to truly move on from his colored past, not a day goes by that he isn't thankful the two of them met and became friends. To paraphrase him directly, he doesn't know where he'd be today without Jason and the Cult having essentially taken him in when he was at his lowest. It's for this reason that, despite all the pain they went through back then, he considers that era one of the best parts of his life.
Where to begin?
When they first met on Euthora, Jude felt Jason's fear and pain and resolved to help him. This evolved into, during the latter's lowest point in life, Jude (with the help of a few others) not only being the one to save him from himself by shooting him down with his own bow, but also being almost the only person to consistently and unerringly fight for him when faced with pressure from the rest of the Cult of Ustream. Even in the face of overwhelming odds, Jude never gave up on Jason, which forged a nigh-unbreakable bond of trust between them.
During the events of Now and Always's first arc, this bond became even further ingrained. as after a fateful attack by another vampire in the party (his own wife), the two of them triggered independent instinctive bonds. Jude became the sworn bodyguard and mentor to Jason's charge. This is in addition to the fact that Jude also committed to being the father figure that Jason never actually had, and legally adopt him as his son.
Their relationship is exceedingly complicated, but the gist of things is that Jude considers himself not only Jason's greatest advocate, but also his father, mentor and guard, among many, many other things. This is evolving basically daily, so expect things to change here in future too.
This means that the only real answer to what Jude views Jason as is "Yes.".
Jason and Mimring have a powerful, brotherly relationship that comes from Jason having essentially been raised by dragons, Mimring included. Mimring is Jason's Familiar through Dracomancy, tying their minds and souls together, and they have been bound for so long that they've begun to meld. Jason considers Mimring his second half, voice of reason, and an advisor of sorts, though in practice the two synergize to the point where they can be considered one mind in two bodies.
