Set eight years after the events of Cult of Ustream, the first story arc of Now and Always focuses on the developing, powerful bond between Jason and Jude. Their old friend Jack comes to them with a request for help: his adoptive father has been assassinated, and he needs assistance getting to the bottom of things. This investigation takes them to Ceskion, a desert-world populated by lizard and genet people, with traces of a more ancient civilization being uncovered...
