Journey in the Abyss

Story of Caspian.

Caspian is born with the mark of the reincarnation of a powerfull demon in is eyes. His parents, supposed to kill him at birth, didnt have the heart to kill their child, and abandonned him in a forest.
Monks found the newborn, barely alive, and decided to raise him virtuously, while hiding his mark behind a blindfold.
He reached adulthood peacefully, until some religious sect, the "Order of Light" led by the so-called Prophet, Isaac, visited the monastery and discovered the mark hiding behind his blindfold. He was immediatly attacked, but was saved by Vesper, a strange wolf with a bone to pick against the sect that were about to execute Caspian. They escaped together, and, while running from their pursuers, were helped by a grumpy Nature spirit, Hydathode, whose domain was destroyed by the religious sect.

With a common foe, and a kind heart, both Vesper and Hydathode decided to help Caspian reach his goal : protect Caspian while he finds a way to remove the devil's mark he bears, that is supposed to bring chaos and destruction to the world.

During their quest, while running from the Order of Light, they stumble upon a strange Circus deep inside the Crimson Woods, where no soul can escape the circus master, Majora.

With the help of another prisoner of this distorted and disturbing circus, they manage to escape Majora's grasp.

Berlioz, to thank them, give them a lead to someone who might help Caspian break his "curse" : Achilles, who is supposedly knowledgable about breaking curses.
