realized at this point some of my comm examples are a bit old to the point i feel like i have evolved a lot since i made them so in the following weeks in between adopts and school will be cleaning things up there a bit, mostly just updating images but some prices here will be raised and lowered

the biggest change is that will be stopping doing GC comms for the moment, they arent really a type of comm that excite me all that much so i dont see myself doing them again the near future so if if you would be interested in this type of thing from me this is your last chance in a while to get one

for a while i also have wanted to open some simple reference sheet style comms, i dont typically have the time to draw my own characters so i basically have no examples for that and couldnt but this month i should hopefully finish my studies and start college later this year so i should basically have a month to enjoy drawing these simple and clean reference sheets for my characters :)

hey!! if you have been following me for a while now you probably have noticed that recently i have barely been posting compared to how actively i used to and its for a good reason, recently things changed quite a bit around the house with one of my familiars passing and me going back to studying so because of that will be changing my adopt schedules a bit, i never really had a predetermined schedule or anything i just liked to post at least 3 times a week but now since will be focusing more on my studies will instead be focusing more on things like batches, gachas and commissions

this is definitely for the better as for several months now i have been feeling quite awful and like i was being forced to work on adopts due to needing the money but due to the situation we are currently in and the fact i have thankfully been very lucky with getting commissions recently i wont have to focus so much on that anymore, from now on instead of posting several times a week will be aiming more for quality and will just come out every once in a while with designs i like instead of trying to just get anything out there

and yes this will mean that from now on my prices will most likely be raising a decent amount for adopts since will only be posting designs im proud of so maybe consider checking out my current adopts again since there are a decent amount of cheap fellas here

recently i have also been updating my kofi a bit and cleaning things up and it is currently the only place you can get custom pokemon bases in the style i do them at Casanovaz so maybe consider checking it out or my other comm types

idrk what to say here but its my birthday!! you might have noticed it was coming because of all the raffles i have been doing lol but i just wanted to mention it because its kinda cool :)

been meaning to update the profiles for a lot of my characters for a few months now because i thought the old code and icons i had for a lot of them was kinda ugly and finally had the time to do that! 

my biggest problem really was because i couldnt find a simple and small code that i liked but recently i updated my profile by killing the code and just having this really simplistic minimalist look with just a header image(thank you NekoScrub, holds you in my hands) and some text underneath and i thought that was a really good clean look so i ended up using something similar for all my characters! this ended up taking longer than i expected(like 2 hours, jesus christ) and sadly a lot of my characters dont have that much art BUT i still think it looks really good and if you have the time to i would recommend checking it out because i updated quite a lot of the old info i had there :)

been trying to avoid working on adopts recently so i could chill a bit more but drawing is like the 1 hobby i can afford lol so i have just putting my focus on drawing preexisting designs(mostly bases for my resources account) and i just finished this set of bases for rain world slugcats and look at them go!!

im omitting spearmaster from this image because i can see the tail triggering someone's tryphophobia so if you want to see that one you can find the entire set here but im just so glad how these guys turned out, i don't even play rain world(even if i bought it my shitty laptop wouldnt be able to run it) but i just love this specific type of guy and couldnt resist drawing them, gourmand and artificier are definitely my favs i really like their vibe and while saint is also super cool i struggled a bit to decide how the fur should look so it loses some points for that </3

also because i really liked working with these guys here is a behind the scenes look at the sketches i did for them, i dont usually sketch on paper but with their anatomy i thought it would be easier to do that than to start from ground up while drawing with a mouse like i usually do, also i originally sent these on discord to share with a friend and it rotated some of them for some reason so sorry about that 

solving some school related things soon and by the middle of the year i should be starting college for veterinary so i figured it would be better if i changed some of my comm prices around since im not going to be able to work on adopts as much

both my normal comms and 3d model prices have been adjusted so maybe check those out since basically everything got lowered

my friend has had this species idea in mind for like a few years now and earlier last year i started helping them with developing it more(mostly by contributing with artwork) and it has finally been released!! these guys are super adorable and a fun twist on the animal + sweet concept, just by joining the discord you get an uncommon MYO that can be easily upgraded and right now there are 3 legendary MYOs being raffled with later today another raffle and a few OTAs going up HERE so if this is the type of stuff you are interested in i really recommend checking it all out!!

This year was quite a mixed bag for me with a lot of good and bad things happening but one thing I cannot understate is how glad I am with this account and my focus on growing it, I always wanted to focus more on art and while I'm not big or anything I'm very glad I'm at a point now where even if I'm not the most confident about my own skills and abilities there are people here who are on my side and like the things I make, sometimes I can end up not replying to comments outside of business because I'm extremely anxious so I'm very very sorry if at any moment you felt like I was ignoring you, I am extremely grateful for all the support I have been getting and hopefully this same day next year you will still be here to hear what I have to say!!

One thing I do kinda regret is the lack of raffles, my ideal goal would be to make one every month but this year due to some health problems and other personal issues I was unable to achieve that but hopefully as things look brighter for next year will be able to do that and more for you guys!

And here is a little retrospective with some of my favorite adopts I did this year and my thoughts about them:

January - First design I ever made that really got some attention, even tho it went thru a small redesign by the new owner I am still quite proud of how it turned out even if the 3d model it has kinda sucks and the original design was made over official pokemon art

February - While the shading on the actual design art here is quite rough, I am still proud of how cute of a design it is and the 3d model I did for it really helped me find a good shape identity to how my models look

March - Originally sketched out as a custom, but the person disappeared before paying and I decided to make it an adopt since it's way too banger of a design concept to be left rotting because some guy didn't read my ToS before contacting me. Still very glad I decided to go with leopard seal pattern for the tail since it helps separate it from other designs and looks cute

April - I have been trying to avoid putting batch designs here but I just simply cannot make this list without mentioning this one, even tho they were originally made over official pokemon artwork I am still quite proud of how they turned out, I ended up keeping them a little while because people kept offering and then backing later on and it had me pissed but nowadays a good friend of mine owns them and it makes me quite happy to see them being loved

May - Putting these two here together since that's how they were made to be and are one of the cases where I made the mistake of showing their sketches to my friend and they bought em before they even were uploaded to toyhouse. These are by far the most fun I had working with alcremie and while they are quite simple because at the time I didn't feel confident enough expressing the other ideas I had in mind for them the more time passes the more I realize it works in their favor. They are also lesbians which makes them automatically cooler than any other design

June - A random idea I had one afternoon while I was trying to come up with some fun adopts, at first i wanted to do more with their design and add more markings and circus related items but decided against it and I'm very glad I did because their simplicity really helps with the charm

July - At the time I actually didn't really like this design, I was upset at my inability to go with a more slim design like the one eeveelutions actually have and wasn't a fan of the brush I used for the lineless fullbody but I'm glad I decided against deleting it because different from a lot of other designs I delete because they make me mad at my own skills when it comes to making a character this was more of an execution mistake than a problem in the actual design

August - Fairly similar to the last design when it comes to the palette(I might have actually used the same exact one for both of them since it has me on a chokehold) but still quite unique on it's own way and im glad I decided to use a quaxly for it since even tho it isn't a pokemon I'm that familiar with working with it's still quite adorable

September - It's a vaporeon, it's konpeito, it's surprisingly still for sale but it's okay because i had fun making it and thats what matters :)

October - As I mentioned before I have been trying to avoid putting adopts from batches here but this one I just, I can't, this was one of the last designs that lasted even after the Halloween batch was over and I'm honestly really glad he did because he is just so cute and my son

November - One of the first adopts I have made using a base since I was a child and while it is to be expected that it would be easy for me to work with my own base it was still a fun little challenge working with it and making changes here and there to the base so it matches more with what I had in mind and really reminded me of being a kid on deviantart editing MLP bases all day

December - As of today(31/12/2023) this adopt is only 2 days old and while it makes sense I would be happy with an adopt made so recently it makes me specially happy to look at because just, it's a little bear guy thing :)

recently i hit 200 subs here(yippiee) and i havent really done a raffle in a while because of batches and bases for my alt so trying to see what people really are more interested on

choices are for general raffle options but i might also do a subs only raffle for a voucher where you can claim any adopts i have up atm for free but im still thinking about that since i havent seen anyone do something similar before so if you would like that feel free to comment here

like most of you have noticed(at least i imagine most people who have bulletins notifications on also have for characters) recently i started working on a new gacha so i plan on closing the halloween gacha soon

most of the characters left will still be available on my adopts folder but ab prices will be changed to around 15$ to 25$, i do plan on deleting some designs im not very proud of all so if you theres someone left who you still want to get and dont want to risk being deleted or having their price raised maybe try rolling for them now

when the halloween gacha itself closes tho i am going to start taking art offers for most of the adopts left so be aware of that too!

i cant with guarantee say when the winter gacha is going to open, it has already taken more than i would have liked to open it but i havent been the best health wise and trying to juggle it with commissions and personal stuff has been a bit of a mess but hopefully it should be open in the first week of december!!
