Mewtwo Haven/Refuge
All Mewtwo OCs will be here! There are different 'areas' that the Mewtwos live in, in a sort of large refuge-slash-ranch-slash-wilderness area. There's a bit of everything environment-wise to suit the unique needs and preferences of each Mewtwo hybrid or experiment.
At the dojo, there are several rooms with the bare minimum in them - but the Mewtwos that choose to reside here seem to be just fine with that. The Mewtwos here enjoy sparring with each other and tend to prefer either more brute physical force or very little use of their psychic abilities and feel more at home in a more martial-arts type setting. While each one's combat style differs, they all get along pretty well and know when to 'take it outside' so as not to ruin their home. They don't mind interacting with the other Mewtwos, but tend to distance themselves as there is almost an unspoken inferiority the more physical combat-based Mewtwos feel against their counterparts that focus more on their psychic talents. That doesn't stop some of the younger Mewtwos from wandering in and having a good time, though.
The guest houses have several rooms in each; each allowing for personal space for one of the Mewtwo family to do with as they choose. There is a pool in the middle of the guest houses for them to use as well, though most of the Mewtwo family staying in the guest houses prefer to remain inside. It's usually pretty quiet in this area, save for the times there are scuffles about who ate the last Pecha Berry Pie slice.
As ridiculous as it sounds - this is an entirely closed off area that hosts several large attractions one would find at a winter resort type of thing. It has a snowboard and ski slope, slides, ziplines, as well as some cozy cabins and even some igloos for any Mewtwos who prefer this area to call their own! There aren't very many Mewtwos who prefer this area at this time, but they do get occasional visits from Mewtwos willing to hang out for part of a day.
In a location that is known to only a select trusted few Mewtwos, there are some isolation areas that house the Mewtwos that are, for now, a little too dangerous to be allowed to live freely with the other Mewtwos. Chrono and others are working to socialize them and work on their past traumas, but some of the Mewtwos here may have scars and traumas too deep to allow them to functionally and safely live with others. The best Chrono can offer them is a safe, isolated space catered to them to try and let them live out the rest of their lives as comfortably as possible. The Mewtwos here have very little to no trust and Chrono is often the only one able to safely be with these Mewtwos.
The location of these isolation areas isn't exactly known, as Chrono seems to just appear and reappear - sometimes a bit worse for wear - when he checks on them.
To the Mewtwos who are more inclined towards technology or the cosmos, they find themselves more at home here. It's not quite state-of-the-art, but much to some other Mewtwos dismay, the Mewtwos here are free to observe, play around with and experiment to their heart's content - within reason. There are a few fully-equipped laboratories with numerous supercomputers as well as chemicals and proper storage for said chemicals. In a separate wing, there is an observatory with a huge telescope where one can look at the sky. It has curved floor-to-ceiling glass so no matter the positioning of what they want to look at, the telescope can be repositioned to see what they want. There are several rooms separate from both the observatory and laboratory, though the Mewtwos who like to hang out in one or both areas tend to fall asleep while working or feeling comfortable hanging out with like-minded Mewtwos. In the observatory, there are several large piles of plush pillows, futons, as well as several bookcases with books pertaining to astrology and even just science fiction.
The main mansion is where a bulk of the Mewtwos reside. There are still plenty of open rooms - but several of the Mewtwos not living here prefer something a bit smaller, quieter, less flashy, or just more secluded. There is a water feature in front of the main mansion that is mostly decorative, but on occasion some of the Mewtwos have used it to lounge in.
In a section of the land the haven is a part of, there are several acres of prairielands. It contains a couple of small water features and a few small clusters of trees, but is dominantly flat with some slight hills and lots of flowers. It's beautiful and open and a great place to stretch one's legs or take a snooze under a tree by a pond. The Mewtwos that have decided to spend most of their time here don't mind sleeping out in the elements and, while not necessarily feral, absolutely have a more wild side but can interact mostly fine with the other Mewtwos. However, some of their manners may be a bit gruff or lacking.
The Caves is a collection of rooms, hallways, and tunnels created underground with adequate housing needs and the option to use as much or as little light as wanted. The Mewtwos that live down here are typically the most reclusive and distrusting of others. They like their privacy and only come out when absolutely necessary.
There are a few small cottages around the section of the property that has a sprawling and beautiful garden. The Mewtwos that live here appreciate nature and tend to the gardens, or are willing to learn how to properly care for plants. They also prefer and enjoy the more serene and quiet nature of things in this area, whether it's just for peace of mind or they may have sensory issues and get anxious or panic with louder noises. Very rarely will the other more rowdy Mewtwos get so loud that the sound reaches this area - and even the more rowdy Mewtwos try not to get too close to this area or get so loud and rambunctious that the ones who prefer more peace and quiet can hear them.
Chrono and/or Myles are quick to step in if things get too out of hand.
The Lake is a large, clear lake with a couple of cabin homes scattered around the edges. There are some docks as well as a couple of storage sheds for some small speedboats and jetskis, should any Mewtwos want to have fun out on the water. The cabins aren't occupied by any one Mewtwo, but often will have a small group stay in them for a couple of nights or so when the weather is nice for them to have fun out on or in the water.
The Parks include a collection of various themed outdoor parks - some have generic playground equipment, others include things like places to skateboard, rollerblade, and participate in various obstacle courses. There are also some silly funhouses and climbing walls around. While it seems like it is aimed for the younger Mewtwos, and several of the Mewtwos think this area to be beneath them or too 'childish,' there are actually several that feel most comfortable spending most of their time around here. There isn't much for shelter in the area in the typical sense, but the Mewtwos make it work here, typically working together to ensure each other has a comfortable and reliable place to sleep overnight, even if that means they all huddle together underneath a ramp with some pillows and blankets pilfered from the main mansion.
The Volcanic Springs is a region that is a much higher temperature than the rest of the haven. There are dark rocks protruding out of the ground at odd angles as well as even a few above-ground and even underground cavern networks. While there isn't an actual volcano here, magma still somehow pools beneath the surface. There are some pools of water around the edge that could be used as a natural hot spring to relax in. And, for the Mewtwos fused with truly formidable fire-types, a couple of magma pools in the innermost part of this area are much more enticing.
The Mewtwos in this category don't typically stick to one particular place. In fact, they prefer to wander - oftentimes, outside of the haven. However, they always wander back here, knowing they have a safe place to return to, to relax and wind down if they so choose. Nothing is stopping any of the Mewtwos from leaving; some of the Mewtwos here will leave for days or even weeks at a time before returning. Their homes are a bit more unique and tailored, none looking like any others in this area or like anything else in the haven at all, really. They're more tailored to their preferences as a sort of way to entice them to keep coming back and reassure them that they are welcome here.
Some of the Mewtwo's personal homes here have unique decorations that do not reflect any world or universe other Mewtwos are familiar with. Others are somewhat plain, while others have a hodge-podge collection of miscellaneous decorations.
The Wanderer's Nook is a bit smaller than several of the other areas in the haven, with the housing, despite all of its uniqueness, fairly close together. There is still plenty of room to add additional space, however. This is the closest thing you could call a neighborhood as there are actual houses here, though the Mewtwos that don't live in this area don't seem to mind the lack of space or lack of personal items, instead valuing more the time they get to spend with other Mewtwos rather than collecting things or traveling.
For those that prefer the great outdoors and think that most of the other options are too fancy or foreign - they will reside here. There are rudimentary treehouses, burrows, and even a tall tower overgrown with moss and vines that some Mewtwos share at least sleeping space with. A lot of places here are a bit dark, making it the perfect environment for the more scary-looking Mewtwos or ones that have colors that help them blend in to this environment. The Mewtwos that reside here are not exactly reclusive, they just are more old-fashioned or struggle a bit more with hanging around larger groups more frequently.
